“I’ll talk to Guy,” I say. “Send him Jones’s bank info. He’ll make it look like a transfer’s been made to his account. Once that’s done, arrange the time and place for the trade. You’ll take the girls, and Guy will make another fake transfer. After the deal’s done, close surveillance must be kept on both of them. I’ll feed a modified version of the info to Charles Bridge and ensure he shows up after the trade to collect the girls. By morning, Alice Crae will be arrested.”
“And Jones?”
“He’ll go missing.”

“Well, hello, cousindearest,” Stefano answers. “Why do I get so giddy whenever I receive a secure call from a Garza?”
“I’ve got zoo food.”
“Ah, yes, that’swhy. It always means a holier-than-thou Garza is about to get dirty and needs my help.” He clucks his tongue. “It also means I’m about to come into some easy money.”
“You know you’re annoying as fuck, right?”
“You pronounceddelightfulwrong.”
“Check your SafeCloud for the address. Have the food picked up. Tell me when it’s done.”
“The pick-up is a separate fee.”
“Yeah, sure, whatever. Just tell me when the food’s arrived, and I’ll meet you there.”
“Oh, you want towatch?”
“Yes.”
“You’re full of surprises, aren’t you, cousin?”
“Only when the punishment fits the crime.”

True:We wrapped the mole operation. The mole’s been exposed and taken in.
Lonny:Damn that’s great news. Thank you guys so much for helping.
True:No prob.
Lonny:Can I call you?
True:No. You can get all the details from Charles. He made the arrest.
Lonny:That’s not why I want to call you…
True:We’ve got nothing else to talk about. Have a good life.
CHAPTER Thirty
“And miss out on stalking your ex?”
True
It’s almost midnight when Iarrive at the Castellos’ private zoo in Nevada. Not only is this place illegal, but it’s deeply hidden, and very few people know it exists. Meetings like the one we had a few weeks back assure that.
The men guarding the perimeter throw me chin jerks as I walk in.
“You’re late, cousin.” Stefano emerges from a cage with a small cub on a leash.
