Story: The Filth Kings
Thirty-Eight
Flashing lights stung my eyes. I barely noticed the cameras that snapped at me and all the news reporters as we walked past the sea of people. My hand found the curve of Angel’s waist, the silk of her Vera Wang gown spilled behind her as I guided her inside. She stood beside me, radiant and glowing. The smell of her perfume was as sweet as her pussy that still lingered on my taste buds.
Nobody existed right now. I had Angel. Her eyes gleamed up at me, and I felt something deep in her knowing eyes. It almost terrified me, it felt like salvation. I took in all of her, down to her fingers that was painted sinful red. When we entered, I stood at the edge of the red carpet and took in the entire place. I got to give Maylee a raise. I thought with a crooked smile on my face.
“This is beautiful.” Angel gazed around; her hand gripped mine tighter.
Her long hair was curled and feathered all over, it framed her beautiful round face elegantly.
“Yeah, Maylee did her thing with this…but you stole the show.” I leaned down to peck her on the top of her forehead.
“I would say you look good, but your pants are discolored.” She smirked.
“Because of you.” I chuckled dryly.
I didn’t give a damn about my pants having pussy juice stains. I dared anyone to mention it. All the men around the world that would see my pictures in the media would know what was up once they saw Angel glued to my side. If I had an open opportunity here, I’d take her somewhere and fuck her again before we made it back to my house.
Impurity was dead, along with Jalissa. It felt like the weight of the world was off of my shoulders. The world accused me of foul play, but they’d never be able to prove a damn thing. I didn’t give a fuck what they thought, as long as people stayed the fuck out of my way. I felt a rough tap on my shoulder. Without looking, I knew it was Monster. The sound of Angel’s chair scooting backward snatched my attention.
I turned in my seat then instantly smirked when I looked up at Monster. I never saw him rock a suit, let alone have a woman on his arm in public. I stood and slapped hands with him. He pulled me in close and patted my back.
“Let the women talk and enjoy themselves…Come take a walk with me brother.” He talked lowly.
The air was thick, the scent of champagne and expensive fragrances lingered in it. Monster nodded his head at his men that he had in place for security. I stopped mid stride when I laid eyes on a familiar face. A face that I’d never forget since a kid. Octavio…
My mind refused to accept it, my heart slammed against my ribs and the room started to spin. He stood tall and broad shouldered; he was a shadow of the timid boy that I remembered when we were younger. He was a lighter version of me. He stood by the back hidden bar with a glass cup in his hand. I staggered back, Monster placed his hand on my shoulder to keep me grounded in place.
“That’s our brother?—”
“Octavio…” I finished his sentence.
My vision wavered as tears swelled in my eyes, and before I knew it, my feet carried me forward and in seconds, my arms wrapped around him from behind. I held him tight like I wished I could have done when he was forced out of Impurity’s house with Jalissa. His body shook against my chest, I felt Monster presence at my back.
“We all were ripped apart—” he choked out.
His voice was soft but broken, filled with years of pain.
“They’ll never break us again.” Monster added, his voice sounded choppy like he was trying his best to hold back his own flood of emotions.
I released Octavio, he turned all the way and stood to face me and Monster.
“Jalissa?”
“Dead.” Monster and I said at the same time.
Years of distance and lots of wondering where he was and how he was doing dissolved in an instant. I was no longer a man carved out of darkness…I looked over at Monster then back at Octavio…I was a brother again. I had family and a woman that I fell hard for without second thought.
