CHAPTER 29
OLIVE
My body burns.
My dreams are distorted with a painful sense of longing, as if I’m desperate for something just out of reach.
I wake buried in blankets and pillows with the softest fabrics caressing my skin and the subtle scents of my Alphas perfuming them.
Alphas!
I rearrange the blankets, kicking at the covers and pushing apart the pillows like a madwoman.
What is going on with me?
The suppressants should be working.
With a growl, I reach over to the nightstand and study a stolen bottle.
I read the label in disbelief.
Expired.
They’re fuckingexpired.
They still have some potency, but I’m losing my mind.
One orgasm from Brock was not enough.
And the cramping won’t stop.
They left ice packs on my nightstand along with water and food, but the last thing I want is to eat or drink.
I need…
“Alphas!” It’s half a cry for help, half a curse as I rage.
Damn them for doing this to me.
And damn Killian and Dylan for barging into my bedroom and looking likethat.
The moment Killian sees me, his eyes darken with lust. “Fuck,” he hisses. “Fuck.”
My gaze darts to Dylan, who stands in the doorway, his lips parted in surprise. His eyes rake down my body, taking in my naked form as I lay on my nest.
Their arousal mixes with mine, and it’s all I can do to not beg them to touch me.
“Hurts,” I hiss through gritted teeth, my hands clenching into fists. “Make it stop.”
“Olive,” Killian says, his gaze burning into mine. “You have a choice. You can go through this alone, which I know you can, because you’re a fucking warrior.”
Dylan nods, even though it looks like he wants to protest.
“My other choice?” I whimper.
Killian’s icy eyes grow sinister, and he licks his lips. He stands close to the edge of the bed, his eyes finally taking in every inch of my naked body. “We make you scream for us.”
Dylan growls and closes the door behind him. “We make youours.”
