OLIVE

The Heat cameon quicker than I thought.

My Alphas have been extra attentive to me all day, and their scents subtly change as my arousal thrums through my body.

I know my Heat will be fantastic.

The energy that all four of us emanate in the house hums like an electric current, and I know they’re all waiting on me to make the first move.

They won’t pursue. They’ll only give when I’m ready to take.

And it’s the way it needs to be, our first time together as mates.

My world has turned upside down, but they’ve been along for the ride, and I’m truly grateful.

When the cramps are unbearable, slick starts to drip down my thighs, and my skin burns fever-hot, I know it’s almost time.

I make my way to my bedroom, and my mouth falls open in shock.

My bedroom is small but cozy, with wood paneled walls and rustic furnishings. The bed is generous, but what blows me away is what has been provided for me.

I asked for a massive nest. They fucking delivered.

I’m in the pile of blankets and fabrics before I can stop myself, shucking off my clothes and luxuriating in the softness. A soft purr escapes me, and I sigh, stretching my limbs and arching my back as a down comforter ghosts across my nipple.

Where I can invite my Alphas, if I feel so inclined.

And I feel very inclined.

My body tingles as I luxuriate, little mews of pleasure escaping me.

Yes.

Killian and Dylan’s scents linger, and I inhale them greedily, letting their essence sing with mine.

The light eventually fades from the room, night coming quickly as I rest in my cocoon of safety.

Eventually, I start sweating and become restless. I toss and turn in the sheets and yelp as a cramp overwhelms me. Fluid escapes me, my slick soaking through the blankets as I struggle to find a comfortable position.

But there’s only one thing that will soothe me.

It’s time to stop putting off the inevitable.

I need to be made whole.

Pulling out my newly acquired phone, I shoot off a text to the one Alpha I haven’t been able to scent in the sheets.

I need you.

Adrenaline rushesthrough me as I set the device on the nightstand, eagerly awaiting my grumpy, adorable Alpha.

Brock is at the door in a moment, swinging it open and taking in my form. His brown hair is styled perfectly, slightly slicked back, and I have the urge to mess it up. Dressed in a rich blue button up and dark jeans, he looks incredible.
