It was dark and the park was empty. Hov didn’t want to take her to his house, nor did he care to ask her where she lived to go there. They were both grown but he was on some reckless little boy shit.
“You good?” he asked removing his seatbelt ready to do what he came for. What Briana claimed she wanted.
Looking around into the night, Briana thought about protesting and asking why they were there but again, she just went with the flow. Whatever she did in the park would stay there so no shame was going to come her way.
Sexily she faced him before she licked her lips. “I’m more than good. You?” she asked as she removed her black thong ready to straddle him.
He knew what was up and pulled his dick out. Never willing to run up in anyone raw, he pulled a condom from the center console. Once his dick was covered, she got on top of him. Eagerly she slid down his shaft until she was full. Her head fell back and sheen covered her neck on command.
“Ride that shit just like that,” he coached as his hands fondled her ass.
Her core was wet and tight.
He dodged the kiss she was trying to plant on his lips but did it in a way to not slight her. He wasn’t a fuckboy and never got off on making women feel bad for going for what they wanted.
The car rocked as she bounced up and down making sure she was filled to the brim. “Hov,” she whined because it was a lot. The way he stretched and dug her out was euphoric.
Slapping her on her butt, he encouraged her. “You doing good. Take it just like that.”
The pleasure in his voice coupled with the pressure of him hitting her spot while he pumped underneath her was all it took for her to explode. “Aah!”
On cue, he released with her, and their heavy panting filled the car. They were both satisfied. Hov had to admit, sex with Briana wasn’t bad and he could definitely see himself sliding in her again.
Slowly, she got off him and took her place back in the passenger’s seat. Coming from her sex induced hypnosis, she scanned the dark park again. “I can't believe I just fucked you in the park like a little girl.”
“We grown Briana.” That was his way of taking the shame away from her. “Besides, I wouldn’t have made it to a room. I had to have you,” he licked his lips. That was his way of letting her know she was wanted. Even if only for the moment.
Nodding, she curled her feet under her body ready for a nap. She would’ve loved to spend more time with him however she didn’t want to overstep and make the situation more awkward. Instead, she closed her eyes hoping it would be enough for her own drive home.
After Hov dropped Briana back off at her car, he drove over to his next destination. He felt he had put off the conversation with Rock for far too long and since his nut sack was empty, what better time?
With his window down, as he came to a slow stop, he could hear the crickets and cicadas talking in the distance. The neighborhood that raised him was quiet—a stark contrast to what it used to be when he was a youngster causing havoc.
The dew point in the air was high, casting a slick sheen across his forehead.
Pulling up to Mae Lou’s house, he cut the engine.
Hov noticed the car he’d given to his once best friend and felt a pain in his chest. Hov had to admit if he felt bad, he could only imagine what Rock was feeling.
Shit was really messed up. No matter what, Hov would always do what he did.
The best moments of his life revolved around Knycole.
She was it for him. He also knew it was a fucked-up situation because he would want to murder Rock if he did the same thing to him.
Maybe he was a hypocrite. When it came to his Knyc, he was willing to be the villain in everyone’s story but hers. He folded with her every time.
With his hands in his pockets, he walked up to the porch, appreciating the yard work.
Mae Lou loved her home and took pride in keeping it maintained.
Especially when Knycole and Hov footed the bill.
He had a key but decided to knock on the door instead of just walking in.
When his hand came down on the new door he could feel the thunderous rhythm of his heart.
Hov almost loved Rock as much as he loved Knycole.
When the door swung open, Hov was met with Rock’s venomous glare. “The fuck you doing here, nigga?”
Almost.
Hov’s nostrils flared as he coached his anger down. He didn’t take too kindly to anyone talking to him the way Rock just had. But since he knew his anger was valid, Hov was going to give him a pass. Wasn’t going to be many more, though. “Let’s talk, nigga.”
“Seem like its five years too late. How old is Qua? You should’ve talked to me the minute your dick started to get hard at the sight of my bitch.”
“I’ll give you that.” Hov nodded. He was getting annoyed. “You want to talk or what, though? I ain’t got all day.”
“Then take your flaw ass on!”
“Man, I ain’t here on that. I’m here to make good on my word. I’m up, which means you up. How you trying to get down?”
Rock stepped out the house before he pulled the door up. Face to face, he spoke through gritted teeth. “I don’t want shit from you, nigga. You made that promise when you wasn’t a snake ass nigga. Now, I can’t accept your word or none of that.”
“You mad at Knycole, too?” He asked, challenging his once brother. Hov was only an inch or two taller than his once best friend, yet he made it his business to look down on him. His ego rearing its ugly head.
Rock shoved him, almost pushing him off the porch. “Don’t say her fuckin’ name!”
“Nigga fuck you!” Hov spit, his blood starting to heat up.
Both of their emotions were high. That was something they had in common and how they bonded as children.
Both had ain’t shit parents and had to make a way to take care of others before their nuts had officially dropped.
Trauma bonded them and now love, or the fear of lack of love, was going to divide them.
It didn’t matter that both of them still had love in their hearts for the other.
It was the age-old tale of countries going to war behind a beautiful face.
Knycole was the face that launched a thousand ships.
Both men’s chests heaved up and down.
Their eyes locked in on each other.
Rock’s demeanor was chipping. His heart ached and all he wanted to do was forgive his brother.
He loved Hov so much. And so did Knycole.
That was where the problem lied. When he looked into her eyes at her place, he could see all the love she had for Hov.
It hurt Rock bad and fueled his decision to make shit right with her.
Now, as he stood in front of Hov, he wasn’t so sure. Hov’s eyes held the same love hers did. It was clear to him that whatever they shared was deeper and went beyond the love he shared with Knycole. Still, he wasn’t there yet. Rock wasn’t ready to throw in the towel.
Hov spoke first. “Look, I ain’t giving you shit but what I feel is owed to you. You have a place in our empire if you want it.”
“And what about Knyc?” Rock asked, his skin clammy, anticipating what his old friend would say.
Squaring his shoulders, Hov looked Rock in the face. “I won’t get in your way. But if she comes back to me, I’m never letting up on her again.”
Rock could respect that. He didn’t verbally acknowledge what was said to him. He only nodded watching Hov walk away. “I’ll be in touch.”
“Bet.” Hov nodded before slipping into his car.
He hated how at odds he was with his right-hand man and knew no matter how much he wanted things to go back to normal, they never would. It was a truth he’d known from the first time he kissed Knycole. The night of her birthday wasn’t the first time he’d felt her lips or tasted her tongue.
Over the years as kids, he’d kissed her so much.
Knycole taught him how to kiss. And fuck.
Hov was her first before she fell in love with Rock.
He never tripped or threw salt because he knew back then, he wasn’t ready to be what she needed him to be.
Then as time went on, he became all that plus more without the sexual bonds.
Over the years his love for Knycole grew beyond what he ever imagined and now he was reduced to watching her force love with a nigga that wasn’t him. But like he’d told Rock, if and when Knycole came back, he was going to take her back like nothing happened.
