I chuckle. “Yes. Now it’s fair.”
“And will you behave now?”
“Are you sure you want me to?”
His face goes red.
“It’s your turn.”
He narrows his eyes. “Never have I ever skipped school.”
Neither of us takes anything off.
“Never have I ever got a tattoo.” Jett yanks off his T-shirt. He looks pissed off, but I’m more interested in his chest and its smattering of dark hair than his face. Bad Kian. Bad.
He folds the shirt neatly and puts it on his lap. “Kian.”
“Hmm?”
“It’s your turn.”
I blink and shake myself. “Sorry.” Hopefully, I wasn’t drooling. “Wait. You’ve got a tattoo? Since when? Where is it?” I give his torso a good look up and down. He doesn’t have any ink on his body or his arms. Maybe it’s on his back.
“On my thigh.” He runs the heel of his hand over his jeans. “I need to get a cover-up tattoo.” He sighs and looks away. “But I can’t afford to.”
I can tell by the tension in his shoulders that it isn’t something he wants to talk about.
“Your turn,” I say softly.
A muscle twitches in his cheek.
“Or we can stop. I need to have a shower anyway.” I stand, but he catches hold of my wrist. I freeze, even though I’m not well balanced.
“It’s fine.” His voice is quiet. “Let’s keep playing.”
I sit. “Are you sure?”
“Yes.” He stares at his hand around my wrist for a moment and releases me. “Never have I ever used a fake ID.”
“Never done that.” I smile. “Never have I ever skinny-dipped.”
“But you want to?”
“Yes.” I lean towards him. “It would be fun, don’t you think?”
He lets out a soft chuckle. “Maybe.”
“Never have I ever had a threesome.”
“Never have I ever ridden a motorbike.”
“Got me.” I pull my T-shirt off and drop it on the floor.
“When?”
“A guy I dated for a while had a Harley. He looked hot in leather.”
Jett trails the tip of his tongue over his lower lip, his gaze focused on my bare chest. Is he ogling me? I’m one hundred per cent okay with it if he is. Does he even know he’s doing it?
