Cian shakes his head, and he stops at the door as he waits for instructions.
“I want her strung up in whatever way you can get her. Arms over her head, legs stretched out so she can’t kick out,” I explain.
“I’ve got a rack in here that’ll do that if you feel like breaking a few bones too while you’re at it?” he asks.
My smile widens and Oliver clears his throat.
“Stop flirting with my girl,” he sighs.
“I want the rack,” I say excitedly. “Please and thank you.”
Cian nods, glancing at Shaw, who simply walks further into the warehouse and wheels a genuine rack back to us.
“This is awesome!”
“Does this mean we might be able to get you to move to Minnesota?” Adira asks. As people glance at her, she shrugs. “What? I like her.”
Cian doesn’t seem to know what to do with that as he opens the door and a few of the guys go in to stretch Ophelia’s body over the rack. Stepping inside, I ground myself with the weight of the bag in my hand as I watch them secure her arms and ankles. It’s the answer to every fucked up dream I’ve ever had when I think about all the cool toys that the sixteenth century had.
“You’re getting turned on,” Lucas chuckles in my ear. When I flush at the realization, he kisses my temple. “It’s not very noticeable. You smell a little sweeter.”
It makes me realize that I’m not wearing any scent blockers and I sigh as I glance at Cian as he walks over.
“I didn’t have any idea that you were an omega,” he admits. “You had it so locked down, there was a complete absence of a scent around you. While there are some betas that don’t have any scent, it did make me wonder. You wanted to protect yourself, and I understand that. Some of the strongest people I know are omegas, including my daughter. That wouldn’t have kept me from hiring you.”
“It would have made it difficult for me in other areas of the country, so this was easier,” I say. “I also was able to hide from Ophelia a lot longer.”
Ophelia struggles against her bonds, and I walk over and crank the lever, blowing the twatbag a kiss as she groans in pain. I’ll be able to slowly break everyone of her goddamned bones with this.
“This is like Christmas,” I whisper excitedly, ignoring Kane’s chuckle.
The tape is still on Ophelia’s mouth, so I’ll leave that on until I need to ask her questions.
Dropping my bag on a table, I turn to watch as a cart is being rolled in by Cian.
“Extra tools in case you need it,” he explains. “Need anything else?”
Adira wanders over and finds pliers, a hammer, and a portable cigarette lighter.
“I’m good,” she murmurs, picking up the cigarette lighter.
I watch as she saunters over to Ophelia and pushes the button on the lighter. Everyone remains silent as the end glows red, and then she presses it curiously against Ophelia’s cheek.
The strangled scream is exactly as satisfying as I thought it would be.
“What she said,” I grin.
“Omegas will always be scary. I don’t fucking care what anyone else says,” Kane says. The guys wave goodbye, and the door closes shut.
I wait for a feeling of claustrophobia to hit but it doesn’t. Hmm. I guess I’m in my happy place then.
“I can cut her clothes off if you want more surface area to play with,” I suggest, picking up a pair of scissors.
“I think everything but her panties should go,” Quinn decides. “It’s more than she afforded some of us.”
Wren takes a breath and takes the scissors from me, surprising me as she cuts off Ophelia’s clothes and removes her shoes.
“I wonder what that’ll feel like on her feet,” I say mildly, my soles aching in memory from the cane.
