Forcing my eyes open, I blink as I gaze up at Grant’s face as it twists in pain. Quickly releasing his nipple, I wince sympathetically.

“Oops,” I mumble, snuggling against his chest as he picks me up. “Why are we moving?”

My heat lasted for three and a half days and it just broke. I can smile since I remember most of it, which is something I wasn’t expecting.

“You are covered in things that I don’t want to discuss,” he mutters, his feet moving toward the small bathroom in the loft. I remember getting up to pee but that’s about it.

“Leila is playing?” I ask, jutting out my bottom lip. “She just sleeps and poops on me.”

Grant barks out a laugh as he sits me down on the counter next to the sink. The marble is cold on my ass, making me shift with a wince.

“I have a feeling she’ll be doing new things every day,” he says, turning on the shower. “You can’t help going into heat, and we’ve all been able to spend time with her in the meantime.”

“Are you telling me that I don’t share well?” I ask, crossing my legs uncomfortably. Maybe if I angle my body, he’ll stare at my tits instead of my thighs.

I’m not used to being nude around them. And yes, I realize how silly that is since I’ve been naked for several days now while they've been taking care of me.

It simply feels different now.
