Page 210 of Remorseless
Chapter Thirty-Nine
Now that he knew dickhead would be fine, Ryan got back to the business of trying to find and rescue Molly. Despite how much he enjoyed spending the evening with his brother and their cousins three days ago, he had a job to do. Besides, knowing what it consisted of made him a little uncomfortable in the wake of all the good will that had been flowing that night.
Rebel’s creamy skin had a golden tint, whom Ryan discovered was a true blonde. Meanwhile, underneath her clothes, Harley was just a shade or two darker than Rebel. Looking at their screenshots side-by-side and seeing their color shocked Ryan.
He’d always considered Harley just a black girl, not as dark as Jaleena but definitely notwhite. Yet, she was gorgeous, just a girl likehis cousins.
Exquisite girls with exquisite bodies and rooms fit for princesses. Behind closed doors, Rebel talked on speakerphone to Mattie a lot.
He was so curious to know Mattie’s habits, but he hadn’t had a chance to sneak into the Donovan house and get into Mattie’s room.
Rebel walked around without clothesandtouched herself, which infuriated Rule because he’d texted Ryan.
Whores will be cast into hellfire.
Ryan sent a thumbs up emoji in response.
If Rebel masturbating bothered Rule, what had he thought about Diesel’s visit? No, hisvisits.
True to her word, she’d kept her door unlocked. Diesel had been true to his and went into her room two additional times to watch her fucking sleep.
Ryan thought of ways to warn Rebel away from Diesel. But he didn’t know how to do it without implicating himself. It was obvious she still had a crush on him. She wouldn’t have kept her door unbarricaded if she didn’t.
In many ways, Rebel was a bad bitch. He’d give her the flowers she deserved. She just wasn’t equipped to handle Diesel, especiallya secret relationship with him. He’d destroy her. Already, he’d breached her defenses. Her instinct warned her to lock him out of her room. With just a few words, he’d changed her mind.
“Taylor!”
At Willard’s call, Ryan straightened. He’d been leaning on the railing of the pedestrian deck on Turn Creek Bridge, where he’d been since leaving football practice half an hour ago.
Mom thought he was with a friend.
Nope. He was on a mission togeta friend. Specifically, Molly.
Willard breezed by. “She’s in the old picnic shelter.”
The motherfucker had a lot of nerve showing his fucking face back in Hortensia. CJ and Outlaw were gunning for him.
Deciding not to concern himself with Willard’s stupidity, Ryan started off. Willard’s fast pace already had him yards away.
The closer he got to the picnic shelter, the more his anticipation rose. After weeks, he would have Molly back. He wasn’t sure what he’d say or how he’d explain her sudden reappearance. When Willard told him to meet him after school, Ryan texted Rule and told him he’d soon remove the cameras from Rebel’s room.
Surprisingly, the motherfucker hadn’t put up an argument. Ryan didn’t know if that was good or bad. All he knew washiscameras were coming down.
Cleaner stepped out of the picnic shelter, his hands and shirt bloody. His cock hung out of his open jeans.
Ryan froze. Nausea twisted in his gut. He looked from Willard’s smirk to Cleaner’s glare and knew if Molly wasn’t dead, she was close to it. He began to shake.
“Eliza?” Cleaner called.
Holding her hand, Wally guided his mother out ofthe picnic shelter. The Terrible Triplets had worked him over very badly on two separate occasions in the past few weeks. He was limping and still wore a cast on one of his arms.
Eliza wore a hooded cape that the breeze swept open and revealed her pudgy nude body. “I’ve missed you, Ryan.”
Behind her, Wally, Jr., her old man and Willard’s and Wallace’s father walked out. The shortest motherfucker there and the one with a gun that he aimed at Ryan’s head.
“You been talking smack about my Eliza,” he said. “My daddy put her on a pedestal. He’d stand up in his fucking grave and haunt me if I let a snot-nosed puppy like you get away with that.”
Cleaner thumped Ryan’s head. “You’re playing with us, pussy.”
