But Sienna is something else.

I don’t know if it’s her feistiness that excites me so much because I haven’t seen it coming. Orlando’s good little girl turned out to be anything but.

There’s something else hiding behind her dark eyes.

Fire.

Passion.

“Come,” I tell her, and she follows me down the hallway and upstairs.

She doesn’t say anything, but I can see her studying every single little detail of the house. Whether she likes it or not, I can’t tell. Her face is unreadable.

A mystery.

“This is your room.” I push the door open, and she strolls inside.

Her gaze falls on the king-sized bed in the middle, and she glances at me. Something flashes through her eyes, but it’s gone too quickly.

Maybe she thinks I’m going to fuck her right here, right now.

Maybe she hopes for it.

And there’s nothing I’d like more.

But I don’t want to.

Not yet.

Let her wait.

Let her longing grow until she can’t take it anymore.

Let her wonder if I want her or if I found something more entertaining.

The idea of tormenting her arouses me even more.

I push myself off the door.

“We won’t be sleeping in the same room, then?” she asks before I can leave.

“No.” I can’t sleep in the same bed as her because there’s a good chance I’d kill her.

If she accidentally touched me, my training would kick in, and I don’t know if I’d be able to stop myself in time.

I need her alive and breathing.

Sienna doesn’t say anything. Maybe she’s happy about it.

She probably hates me.

But none of that matters.

She’s mine, and soon she’ll learn what that means.

I stride to my office so I can focus on something else to forget about Sienna. Whenever I want to see what she’s doing, all I have to do is check the camera in her room.

A smile spreads across my lips.
