I slam the book shut. Axel just stares at it, then turns his bored eyes on me. “If you stop reading, you lose the right to come.”

My mouth drops open.

“She can come whenever she wants,” Gage growls.

“Okay. Thenyoulose the right to come.” Axel shrugs. “Way to make it weird, brother.”

“Wait,” I say, turning to look at Gage. I expect to see anger on his face, and there is a little, but his pupils are blown, and his breathing is quick. He likes the idea.

He watches me for a second, then grins. “Keep reading. Gage, turn around.”

Gage watches me for a second, voice low. “You okay, princess?”

Gage looks at it, and then his gaze bounces up to mine.

Slowly, Gage smiles. “The lady hath upgraded her sword.”

“Knight.” I sniff at him.

“Read,” Axel warns behind me. “And keep that thing away from my balls.”

Gage winks at me, then slowly turns away from me, giving me his back. He kneels on the couch, clasping his hands behind his back.

I’m pretty sure Axel would take great joy in taking away Gage’s right to come, so I rip my gaze away from Gage and try to find my place in the book again. I jump when I feel Axel’s hands on my waist.

“Easy,” he whispers. “Clothes first, then harness.”

His hands trace softly along the hem of my pants, and then he pulls them down, taking my panties with them. I adjust to help him pull them off my legs. He then pulls off my shirt, letting me pause the reading and switch the book between my hands. I do my best to keep reading, heart pounding. I’m pretty sure they can hear the breathlessness my voice has taken.

Something wraps about my right thigh, then clicks securely behind me. Then, my other thigh. I glance down, seeing that Axel has secured the harness to my thighs, and there’s already a flesh-colored dildo in it. My heart races, and I suck in a breath.
