Page 123 of Out on a Limb
The waning sun twinkled in Walker’s eyes. “C.B. plus W.R. When did you write that?”
“After you kissed me in the closet. It was wishful thinking.”
“Sometimes, wishes come true.” Their lips met in a soft kiss that quickly turned passionate. It resuscitated a part of Cameron that he didn’t want to ignore again. The drooping red rays of sunlight flashed over the horizon. Cameron had been told about the sunsets here, but he never got to sit back and experience one. Colors mashed together as if on an artist’s palette.
He leaned his head against Walker’s shoulder as the sun slipped beneath the sea.
CHAPTER Forty
Walker
Walker checked himself for the fifth time in the mirror. He wanted to make sure his shirt was perfectly pressed and beard properly trimmed. He had booked a dinner reservation for him and Cameron that night at a fancy restaurant in Malibu. After the beach, Cameron had gone back to his apartment where he was going to talk to his roommates about moving out. Walker spent that time buying a brand new, super expensive outfit at some trendy boutique on Melrose Avenue. He wanted to look perfect for Cameron.
He noticed a pair of dastardly grey hairs. That was his cue that time was almost up. We only got one go-around, and we had to make it count. And he was. He felt life and love coursing through his veins.
Walker took the elevator down to the lobby. Cameron sat on a chaise next to a fireplace. He wanted to throw him backward and take him right there.
“You look amazing,” Cameron said.
“So do you.” Walker lost his breath. There was Cameron. In front of him. All his. “I made a reservation at this restaurant called Nobu. The concierge said it’s unbelievable, and we might even see some celebrities.”
Cameron nodded, only half-interested. His muscles peeked out from his gray sweater. “Sounds great. How’s your room?”
“Great. I got upgraded to a view of the ocean. Now I get why people want to live here.”
“I want to see.” Cameron walked past him to the elevator. They both got in. Cameron had a familiar mischievious glint in his eye. “What time is our reservation?”
“Seven.”
“We have some time,” Cameron said. The elevator dinged to Walker’s floor. “What’s your room number?”
“618.”
Cameron walked down the long hallway. He took off his sweater somewhere by 606. He unbuckled his belt while passing 611. Unzipped the fly at 612. And kicked off his shoes at 617. Walker dutifully gathered up the clothes.
“Do you have the key card?” he asked nonchalantly.
Walker slid it into the slot. The green light was like fireworks to him.
As soon as they stepped inside, their human selves went to sleep and animal selves sprang to life. Lips were on lips, kissing as if they were trying to solve the energy crisis. Walker tasted Cameron’s breath, felt his warm tongue enter his mouth. Every scent and taste and touch of Cameron only revved his engines harder.
Cameron’s hands tangled in Walker’s hair. They rubbed at his beard. Walker kissed his lips, his nose, his cheeks, his eyebrow. There was no part of Cameron he didn’t want to claim.
“I missed you,” Walker heaved out.
“I missed you more.”
Walker yanked Cameron’s jeans to the floor. His tongue slid down the curves of Cameron’s chest and abs like an expert skier, licking his tight skin. Cameron let out a gutteral moan. Walker continued south.
He gripped Cameron’s raging erection and gave it a few strokes, getting to hear that moan again, that music to his eyes. He licked Cameron’s cock from tip to base, taking in his sweaty taste, making Cameorn beg for more. He jammed Cameron’s dick all the way in his mouth. Cameron held onto the door handle for balance. His own cock was about to rip through his designer pants.
They stumbled over to the bed, neither letting go of the other. Cameron pushed Walker down. He climbed on top and unbuttoned Walker’s shirt, then undid his pants. In a flash, they were both naked, their warm bodies in a tight embrace.
“Mind if I take the lead this time?” Cameron asked.
Walker nodded yes, excited for the new experience. Doug had always preferred to be a bossy bottom.I do not want to think about Doug right now.“I want to do this with you,” he said to Cameron.
“Then do this we shall.” Cameron kissed his neck. Walker pointed him to the condoms and lube he’d picked up after the beach.
