CHAPTER SEVEN

Tucker

Through the rearview mirror, I can see Grayson and Warren staring after us until we exit the parking lot. They both look like lost puppies, unsure of what to do.

I’m pretty sure what we heard her say when we all stepped outside was the last thing any of us expected. Anger builds inside of me for any man she had previously been with who didn’t make things good for her.

Apparently, Grayson is the only exception to this rule. That was a curveball I didn’t see coming.

Sienna is staring off into space, lost in her own thoughts. I want to get back to the flirty banter we had in the hallway earlier and snap her mind out of this funk it’s in suddenly.

“So, you and Grayson?” I say into the silence as I drive toward her apartment. It’s a small town, so I know where she lives.

Maybe that wasn’t the best thing to start off with, but it’s out there now.

She quirks a brow at me, like she can’t believe that’s what I chose to say. A small smile crests her lips, though.

“Yeah, me and Grayson.”

“Just one night, and you didn’t know it was him?”

She nods.

“I have to say, Sunshine, I’m jealous. Out of all the firefighters in this town, serious Mr. Jones is the one you hooked up with.”

She brings her hand up to her mouth to try to hide her laugh.

It’s not that I’m actually jealous of Grayson. It’s more than I wish I could have joined in the fun, even if that makes no sense whatsoever given the situation.

I’m just glad to see her mood is lighter now, even if it’s at my expense.

“Would you rather it have been you?” she asks, peeking at me through her long lashes.

I shrug, pulling to a stop in front of her apartment building. “Not instead of him… maybe just in addition to.”

Her mouth pops open as her eyes dart all around the car, searching for answers.

I’ve never felt that sex needed to be something that existed in a box created by social norms. I’ve always just done what I wanted to when I wanted to do it and have never apologized for anything along the way. Commitment is the only thing I’ve always steered away from.

Leaving her with her thoughts, I round the car. When I open her door, she seems shocked to find me not seated behind the wheel anymore.

She stares at me with wide green eyes, and I can’t keep the smirk off my face. I’m pretty sure throwing this girl off-kilter just became my new favorite thing in the world.

“Do you want me to put your shoes back on or do you want me to carry you?”

“What?”

I point to her still-bare feet. “I don’t want you to get hurt.”

She glances down, and I can practically hear her internal groan.

Carrying her, it is. Good. It’s the option I liked best anyway.

I hand her the heels and purse before sweeping her into my arms bridal style.

“Wait, what are you doing?” she asks, swinging her free arm around my neck.

I kick the car door shut. “I’m carrying you to your door.”

“I live on the second floor.”

She starts to squirm in my hold, so I just tighten my grip on her. “I’m a firefighter. It’s kind of my job.”

She exhales heavily but stops fighting me. “I could get up there on my own.”

I chuckle as I start up the stairs. “I know you could, but you don’t have to right now. What apartment is yours?”

“Two-oh-six,” she says quietly.

I find her door much quicker than I would like. The feeling of having her in my arms is something I’m not ready to let go of just yet.

Her toned curves below the silky fabric of her dress make me want to feel all of her without the dress as a barrier.

I ease her down to the ground. Her body slides down mine. Please, don’t get hard right now. With how close she is, she would most definitely feel it.

Dirty gutter water, changing a lightbulb, toe fungus. My brain grasps for thoughts of anything other than her breasts pressing against my chest as she regains her footing.

When she steps back and starts rummaging through her purse, I swear there’s a pink hue to her cheeks. She pulls out her keys and unlocks the door.

“Thanks for the ride and…” She motions toward me with a flurry of her hand.

“Being your knight in shining armor?” I finish for her.

She rolls her eyes as she giggles.

I lean down, pressing a soft kiss to one of her cheeks. “Good night, Sienna.”

“Night, Tucker.”

I stand there until she is safely inside her apartment, and I hear the door lock on the other side. Then, I jog down the stairs and slide back into my car.

As I drive across town to my own apartment complex, I can’t get her out of my head. Someone as fiery and amazing as she is shouldn’t be chained down by the belief that she doesn’t like sex.

If she genuinely didn’t enjoy sex, that would be totally fine. But I get the feeling she does. She just hasn’t been doing it with the right people, people that put her needs above their own.

That’s just a tragedy—one I would very much like to rectify.

I could be her very own sex professor. We could learn together what she likes and doesn’t like.

I pause, thinking of the other two men who followed her outside earlier tonight. Obviously, I’m not the only one who has a soft spot for this girl.

Plus, she’s already slept with Grayson and apparently liked it.

I could just step back and let one of them help her navigate this, but I’m not that selfless. I want her.

Maybe it doesn’t need to be an “or” situation. Maybe it can be more of an “and” type thing. It’s not like I haven’t shared women with other guys before, especially when I was in college.

It was never an issue for me in the past, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work now.

The way my dick pulses in my pants tells me he’s fully in line with this plan. Now I just need to convince the other three that this could actually work.

“Cap needs to talk to us,” I tell Warren, and he sets the book he’s reading down on the table beside the couch.

He eyes me warily but follows as I make my way to Grayson’s office on the second floor of the firehouse. Being the captain, he gets his own private bedroom and office.

Grayson looks up from the paperwork he’s currently leafing through when we both walk in. His eyes roam between the two of us. “Can I help you guys?”

Now Warren looks even more lost.

I close the door behind myself, taking a seat in one of the chairs in front of the desk. “I wanted to talk to you both.”

“About what?” Grayson says, while Warren grumbles something about me being a menace as he sits down with a huff beside me.

“About Sienna,” I say. They both stiffen, staring right at me.

I guess that got their attention.

“What about her?” Grayson asks, his tone suddenly icy.

Okay, maybe this is going to be harder than I thought.

“So, I have an idea. It might seem kind of crazy or out there, but…” I trail off.

“Just spit it out,” Warren says. His arms cross over his massive chest.

Shit. I really don’t want him to punch me in the face. Not that I think he would, but damn.

“We all heard what she said the other night about not liking sex. Well, other than with…” My hand motions to Grayson, and I shake my head. “Anyway, if I was picking up on the vibes correctly, you both have a thing for her.”

They both hesitate but finally nod.

“So, I was thinking we could have a friends-with-benefits situation with her to help her find her love of sex or whatever.”

“Which one of us?” Grayson asks skeptically.

“All of us,” I say.

“What do you mean?” Grayson asks.

I want to say, “Just like your sister and her three men,” but that’s probably an inside thought that should stay there.

“I mean, we could all be with her at the same time.”

Grayson’s eyes widen.

“I’m pretty sure she’s into all of us in some form or another, so I don’t see the point in making her choose if this is something she would want,” I add.

“Is that something you’ve done?” Grayson asks.

“Yes, I’ve shared women before.”

I glance over at Warren, who has been suspiciously quiet through this exchange. He doesn’t look put off by what I said. He just looks like he’s deep in thought.

“We won't do anything unless it's what she chooses,” Warren finally says.

“Of course,” I say. “Just think about it. Okay?”
