CHAPTER FIFTY-THREE
Warren
“All of you didn’t need to wake up,” Sienna whispers, sitting up in the middle of the bed.
She doesn’t really need to whisper. It might be the middle of the night, but Mia is already wide awake and screaming.
I know eventually we’ll figure out how to handle night feeds so all four of us don’t need to be awake at the same time, but that time isn’t now.
It’s our first night home with Mia, and we weren’t going to be anywhere other than right here.
Tucker leans over, turning on the lamp. I groan, covering my eyes.
Grayson peels himself off the floor where he’s sleeping. He scoops Mia out of her bassinet.
“Shh… baby girl,” he coos, rocking her from side to side while Sienna gets situated. He leans over Tucker, handing Mia to Sienna.
Mia starts eating like she hasn’t in days, when it’s only been two hours.
Sienna starts shifting around, like she can’t get comfortable. I scoot over until my side is pressed against her back. “Lean on me, sweetheart.”
She rests her weight back against me and lets out a relieved sigh. “Thank you.” I kiss the top of her head when she tilts her head back against my shoulder.
Grayson stands at the end of the bed, stretching his arms to the ceiling. He grimaces, feeling the aches from sleeping on the floor, I’m sure.
“I need to ask Austin where he got their giant-ass bed. I don’t think I can sleep on the floor too many more times,” Grayson groans, popping his neck.
“You can go sleep in your room,” Sienna says, adjusting her hold on Mia.
Grayson shakes his head. “I’m right where I want to be, love.”
She just nods because she knows as well as I do that she isn’t getting that man to go anywhere.
Tucker grabs a mostly sleeping Mia from Sienna’s arms when she’s done eating. He makes quick work of burping her and changing her diaper before settling her back in her bassinet with her swaddle secured around her.
“Grayson, come here,” Sienna says, holding her hand out toward him.
“Baby, I don’t want to squish you between all of us and hurt you,” Grayson says.
“I’m fine. I just want all my guys right here.”
How do you say no to that?
He gives a curt nod before crawling in beside her.
“Scoot over,” Tucker says, pressing on Grayson’s back. “Unless you want me to lie on top of you.”
We all roll onto our sides, making more room. Sienna wiggles her ass back until she’s fit against me like a missing puzzle piece.
When there’s enough room, Tucker slides in under the covers behind Grayson.
“Your dick better not touch me,” Grayson growls.
“Our dicks were inside of her at the same time, so I don’t think that’s something you should be so concerned about,” Tucker says.
Sienna’s body quakes with restrained laughter.
“Oh my god,” Tucker says a little too loudly.
“Shh…” we all scold.
“Sorry,” he whispers. “I just think that’s probably when Mia happened. See? You played your part in it, too.” Tucker smacks Grayson on the shoulder.
Maybe it’s the exhaustion or the evolution of their relationship, but instead of snapping at him, Grayson just laughs. He buries his face in Sienna’s hair, trying to muffle the noise.
Tucker reaches forward, lacing his fingers through Sienna’s.
“Are you cuddling me right now?” Grayson asks.
“I would never,” Tucker says in mock seriousness. “I’m just holding our girl’s hand.”
“Mmhmm,” Grayson mumbles, nuzzling further into the pillow. “You’re lucky I’m too tired to care right now.”
“Mmhmm,” Tucker says, mimicking him.
I press a soft kiss to Sienna’s neck. “Get some sleep, sweetheart. I’m sure we’ll be doing all this again in a couple of hours.”
I hear her yawn. “Love you.”
“Love you, too,” Tucker and I tell her. Grayson’s already snoring softly between us.
Despite the exhaustion, I’ve never been happier. My family is all happy, healthy, and under one roof. There isn’t much else I could ask for.
