CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN
Sienna
“I can come get the rest of the gifts tomorrow,” I tell Hadley, grabbing the few bags I brought with me from the back of her car.
“I’ll have the guys do it tomorrow. Don’t worry about it,” she says, grabbing the extra food from the party my mom packed away in containers for everyone.
I really wanted to spend some more time with my mom, but I’m exhausted. She’s spending the night with Gram, so I’ll see her in the morning before she heads back home.
“Thank you for doing all of this,” I tell her as we walk up the steps.
“You’ve already told me that like five times,” she says, smiling over at me.
“I know, but I mean it.” I dig in my purse for my key. Finally finding it, I unlock the door. The sight in the living room isn’t what I was expecting at all.
Empty boxes of all shapes and sizes are all over. All three of my guys are frozen, staring at me like teenagers getting caught sneaking in after curfew.
“What’s going on?” I ask, setting the gift bags down just inside the door.
Jackson pops up from inside a big box. “You’re home,” he says, smiling at me.
“I am,” I say, laughing. “I don’t know what’s going on here, but it looks like you’re having fun.”
He nods several times.
I point to my guys. “You three look suspicious as f-u-c-k,” I say, spelling out the last word.
Hadley busts out laughing beside me. “Look at your phone next time,” she says, staring straight at her brother.
Huh?
“Well, I did my part. Now it’s up to you guys,” she says, walking over to Jackson. She bends down before him. “Hey, do you want to come have a slumber party at our house?”
Jackson’s eyes dart over to his dad.
“Evelyn’s excited to play with you. She said we can watch Cars .” Jackson turns to look at her. “Oh, and we can bring Mack with us,” she adds.
“Yes,” he says, grinning at her now.
“Awesome.” She grabs his small hand, helping him out of the box.
Jackson gives all of us quick hugs before heading out to Hadley’s car, where Warren is already strapping in one of his car seats. Tucker and Grayson take everything else out that was already packed and ready to go.
I just stand there, staring at everyone in confusion. Again… what is going on?
Hadley gets Mack from the backyard. He happily jumps into the back of her SUV, and they both stick their hands out the window, waving as they drive away.
“I’m so confused,” I say the second the door closes behind us.
Tucker grabs my hand. “Come on, Sunshine. We have some things to show you.”
I follow him through the living room.
“Sorry, we didn’t get everything cleaned up before you got here,” he says.
I don’t really know what he’s talking about, so I don’t say anything.
With my hand still in his, he guides me down the stairs to the basement. The other two men follow behind us.
I really don’t like it down here. It kind of freaks me out. Or it used to.
The space looks completely different now. It’s divided into what looks like three different rooms and a hallway. One of the doors is open. It’s obviously a bathroom.
Tucker leads me to one of the closed doors. Inside, there are a bunch of boxes, a bed, and a dresser.
“What’s this?” I ask, looking up at him.
“My room.”
My eyes dart between him and the rest of the room. “Yours?”
“Mmhmm,” he hums in agreement.
Does that mean…
Grayson grabs my other hand, pulling me back into the small hallway. He steps over to the other closed door. This room looks much the same, just with different furniture.
“And this is mine,” Grayson says.
I swallow, feeling my breaths come more rapidly.
“Wha… what does this mean?” I ask.
“Tucker and I moved in,” Grayson says. “For good.”
Oh fuck…
I have a million more questions, but I don’t get a chance to ask them. Warren gently turns me to face him. “We have one more thing to show you.”
I slide my hand into his when he holds it out for me. We all walk up the stairs, pausing outside of Warren’s office.
Tears immediately fill my eyes when he opens the door. The room is no longer an office. It’s a beautiful nursery.
My eyes are drawn to the wallpaper design on the far wall. The bright colors fill me with so much joy. I look around the rest of the room, taking in the little details they added.
The tears are flowing down my face as I grip the side of the crib. I close my eyes, imagining a little girl sleeping peacefully in here, crawling across the floor, taking her first steps.
An emotion-filled sob breaks from my chest. I don’t have to open my eyes to know all three of them are stepping closer to me.
A strong hand rests on my shoulder. Grayson. “Love, we didn’t mean to make you cry. Did we do something wrong?”
I turn around, facing all three of them who are standing around me.
“No, it's absolutely perfect.” I stagger in a jagged breath. “I was just picturing her in here. It just feels so real.”
They all nod.
Warren runs the back of his knuckles down my cheek, wiping my tears away. “It is real, sweetheart.”
Tucker grabs both of my hands. “We want all of this with you. Living together. Being a family. Being in a relationship.”
“You do?” I ask. My voice is barely audible.
“Yes,” they all say.
“We’re all in, so all you have to do is say the word. Say yes, and we’re yours,” Grayson says.
The part of my brain that’s usually screaming at me to do things on my own is surprisingly silent. For once in my life, I know with absolute certainty it’s okay to lean on them and let them all the way in.
“Yes,” I breathe out.
They wrap me in a bear hug that ends up being slightly awkward because of my huge bump, which makes us laugh.
Warren grabs the sides of my face, turning me to look at him. “So, you’re saying you’ll move in with us?” he asks.
There’s still a level of uncertainty in his voice I want to squash immediately.
“I’m not going anywhere.”
His eyes flutter closed, pressing a kiss to my forehead.
“So, you want to be our girlfriend?” Tucker asks. I turn to look at him.
“I think it’s more than that,” Grayson says.
“Be quiet, old man. Rome wasn’t built in a day,” Tucker says.
“I’m not old,” Grayson grumbles.
“I don’t know if girlfriend is the right word, but yeah. I want to be yours. All of yours.” My eyes move over them.
“Good, because we’ve all been yours for a while now,” Grayson says. My heart squeezes in my chest.
How’s this real?
“So, we’re doing this?” I ask. A smile spreads across my face.
