I shrugged. “I’ve been a little busy.”

“Not that I’m saying yes, but what did you have in mind?” he asked.

I thought about it. “What about ‘Sherry’ by the Four Seasons? I love that song.”

Josh laughed. “What is it with your fascination with songs about women? Sandy? Sherry? Hey, don’t forget Peggy Sue, Roxanne, and Billie Jean.”

I shook my head. “It’s just a coincidence, Mr. Smarty Pants.”

“And it’s also a coincidence that they whine like dying pigs when they sing those songs?”

Rocco laughed.

I pinched his arm. “Hey, don’t you dare encourage Josh.”

Holly watched a tall, skinny woman walk by in a gorgeous sequin dress, then frowned and turned to Josh. “My body is going to be changing. I hope you’ll be okay with that.”

Josh put his arm around Holly. “The woman I love is carrying our child. There’s nothing sexier than that. Bring it on, baby.”

Holly smiled and kissed Josh. “Good answer.”

Rocco glanced at me and rubbed his ten-pack abs. “And I hope you’ll still love me when I’m old with a beer belly.”

I laughed. “I doubt that will ever happen, but yes, I will still love you, although I might ask you to wear shirts that aren’t quite so tapered.” I laughed again.

Rocco winked. “I can live with that.”

“What about you?” I asked. “What’s going to happen when I get old and wrinkly, and my body parts start sagging and shifting to new and undesirable locations. Are you going to trade me in for a newer model, maybe the young, voluptuous lead actress you’ll be working with in your next movie?”

Rocco pulled me into his arms. “That will never happen. I only have eyes for you. However, I’d be happy to sign a contract, just so you have it in writing, but something tells me that you would come right back to me with an addendum.”

“You got that right,” I said, laughing. “All future costars of Rocco Romano shall be over eighty years of age.”

Rocco laughed. “That would make for very awkward kissing scenes.”

I smirked. “I can live with that.”

He pulled me even closer. “You have nothing to worry about, my love.” He grinned and kissed me. “You’ll always be my leading lady, Beth. Always and forever.”
