My heart started to beat rapidly in my chest. I shut my bond out to Gabriel.

He didn’t need this moment ruined for him.

How did they get my new number? We weren’t even at that point in our relationship to be worried about bite marks.

Despite my mind's protests, a seed of doubt entered my heart. Of course, they would want to bond with me, wouldn’t they?

I would bring the messages up to Graham after the heat.

There was nothing we could do about it now anyway.

I returned to our group to watch Gabriel open his gifts, putting all those recurring doubts to the back of my mind.

I sat next to Gabriel and leaned against his shoulder to watch him.

He glanced at me with excitement before opening his orange bag.

Inside was a larger box than what was in mine.

Gabriel quickly opened it and found a necklace in it.

I caught small whiffs of scent on this one as well.

Gabriel admired it before putting it back in the box.

“I don't want it to get dirty. We are about to do a lot of activities.” He suggested. “But, I love it, Graham. Thank you.” Gabriel said, looking away shyly. Graham had a small smile on his face and nodded. The next bag was green. I had a feeling it was Sorren’s from how he practically bounced up and down.

I think Gabriel opened his gift extra slowly just to tease Sorren.

He was almost overloaded with excitement by the time Gabriel finally took his gift out of the bag.

It turned out to be a new pair of bowling shoes.

Gabriel checked the size, and they were correct.

“You got me bowling shoes,” Gabriel noted with a teasing smile. Sorren nodded.

“I have a feeling we are going to make a lot of trips there. I can be competitive when I want to be.” Sorren teased. Gabriel rolled his eyes.

“In your dreams. You couldn’t even beat me when I was distracted.” He boasted. Sorren narrowed his eyes playfully .

“We'll see,” Sorren commented before Gabriel moved on to the last bag. Finn’s gift was a credit card. Gabriel looked at it curiously.

“I figured we could make a trip to the nest store. I’m sure there are some things you still want, and I want you to let us pay for it.” Finn stated. Gabriel and I looked at each other and smiled.

“Well, if you insist.” Gabriel easily relented.

He placed the card back in the bag and set it on the table by our nest. “Now then, all of you get out. We need to finish our nest.” Gabriel shooed the alphas out of the nest. With the space opened, Gabriel and I worked together to perfect the blankets and cushions.

We didn’t say a word to each other while we worked.

We didn’t need to say anything to know what the other person was thinking.

It was like a primal instinct had taken over us and moved our bodies in a dance we have known for generations.

I didn’t know how long it took, but Gabriel and I were out of breath by the time we moved every blanket and pillow the exact way we wanted them.

Gabriel turned to the alphas and waited for them. Graham, taking the hint, spoke first.“Can we come in, omegas?” He asked with his trademark smile. Gabriel thought for a moment.

“Yes, but you're wearing too many clothes and they need to be in the nest,” Gabriel commanded. “But you’re perfect, Lydia.” He said sweetly before placing a kiss on my forehead. He looked to the alphas, who stood at the nest's edge. “Well?” He asked.

It was like a switch flipped. All three alphas struggled out of their clothes.

Each time an article of clothing came off, it was thrown to Gabriel so he could put it in the areas of the nest where they belonged.

Once the alphas saw that Gabriel was finished, they climbed into the nest to join us.

Sorren practically pounced on me, covering me in kisses.

I giggled at the feeling as I struggled to get him off.

I’m sure this would be the happiest heat I’d ever had, but a slight worry remained embedded in me. Do they want to bite me?

“Now then, I think we should get this heat started early,” Gabriel said with a husky tone.

I watched him eye all three men excitedly.

Gabriel stalked towards Finn like a leopard.

He straddled Finn’s lap and devoured his lips.

Finn pulled Gabriel’s shirt off and covered Gabriel’s body with his hands.

“Do you like watching them?” Sorren asked, whispering in my ear. He moved us to where I was sitting on his lap.

“I don’t know?” I confessed. Sorren gripped my chin to keep my gaze on Gabriel and Finn while his other hand glided along my leg.

“We’re not going to make you do anything you don’t want to, Lydia.

If you just want to watch, then watch; if you want to participate, do so in whatever way feels best for you.

We’ll be happy to have you in whatever way you want.

” He muttered to me. I nodded at his words, my gaze never looking away from Gabriel and Finn.

Graham had moved behind Gabriel and yanked his head back to kiss him.

I wasn’t necessarily turned on by watching them, but watching Gabriel, Finn, and Graham enjoy each other did make me happy and content.
