Page 86 of In Death, Love Survives
With hair sticking to her face and a hint of pinkness throughout her skin, there’s no denying that she just had sex.
A smug smile spreads as she slowly hops off my cock and tries to stabilize on the ground. The cum starts to trickle down her leg, and I let out a possessive grunt.
“Fucking perfection,” I whisper.
She glances up at me and cocks her head to the side.
“What? You are. I love seeing my cum on you. I want to keep it on you, in you, forever.”
“Wolfe,” she says playfully.
Looking over at the computer clock, I realize we’re almost out of time.
“We better get cleaned up.”
“Yeah. That’s a good idea,” she answers.
Without a word, we both put ourselves back together. The room is buzzing between us, as we both know it may be the last time that we’re together. Only Nova can decide if she wants to venture into the unknown with me.
Fuck. I’m not a good man. I’m not a good person. But fuck if I don’t deserve this one thing in my life for myself and not for the good of the brothers or the club.
As we both finally look somewhat normal, we take a seat across from one another. With Nova behind her desk and me like her patient, you would never know that we just fucked on said desk moments ago.
“Wolfe. I…” she starts.
Her office door handle begins to jiggle roughly as shouting starts. Nova and I look at each other in confusion.
Hurriedly, she gets up and unlocks the door, opening it to find Dr. Owens stumbling in. Nova takes a few steps back to avoid him crashing into her.
“Ryan.” She gasps.
Dr. Owens straightens upright, looking flustered from the interaction. He glances at Nova first, then at me, and back and forth again.
“Dr. Fletcher. Why was your door locked with this person in it?” he asks angrily.
“Dr. Owens. Given the interaction I experienced earlier today, I thought it was best if my last session with Mr. Walker was private.”
“That isn’t your call to make,” he snarls.
I grip the armrests. It’s taking everything in me not to get up and punch the guy. If I did, I wouldn’t be let out with the chance of freedom and Nova by my side.
My jaw clenches as Nova and Ryan argue back and forth about me being here.
I stand up suddenly, causing Ryan to gasp and Nova to flinch.
“What the,” he shouts.
Nova steps in front of me.
“Dr. Owens. If you would like to file a complaint against me, go ahead. I have done nothing wrong today but protect the relationship I have with my patient.”
“She has,” I interject.
Ryan sighs as he looks stunned by what Nova’s doing right now. She was essentially the only barrier between him and me, and she chose me.
At least, that’s what Ryan has to be thinking with the way his anger is replacing his normally perfect façade.
“Nova,” he whispers.
