The hand came across Delphine’s face jolting her out of the darkness into the pure hell that was her life.

Screaming, Delphine could feel everything.

The wind blowing across the room, the cuts, the missing skin and Malphas dragging his nails against her exposed muscle.

This needed to be over, so the pain would stop.

Throwing up wine, food and the feather it all landed on her exposed chest sending shockwaves of pain through her system.

Tears dropped freely as Delphine met Malphas’s eyes “ Please just get it over and done with. You have had your fun and I have learned my lessons. I will never think I am better than the piece of human flesh you have shown me I am. Please, I beg of you to just finish it.”

Guilt washed over her as she begged for this to be done, but she couldn’t take any more.

Her soul was broken and her body was beyond repair.

She was helpless and over it. Malphas laughed with pure happiness as he licked the blood off the knife.

Looking over his shoulder she could see sticks with chunks of her skin waiting to be barbecued.

Malphas walked forward with a stick holding a breast in one hand and the knife in the other.

He stabbed the stick into the bed next to her head letting the blood drop onto her face as he walked away.

Grabbing more sticks of sage and hickory he continued to shove things against her battered skin.

While he prepared he would randomly stab her with the knife giggling when she jumped and cried.

She kept coming in and out of consciousness.

Lighter fluid was the final psycho touch he had for her.

The fluid burned all the wounds as he soaked her with bottles and bottles of liquid.

Leaving a trail to the end of the bed Malphas lit a match and dropped it on the foot of the bed.

Quickly coming to the head of the bed Malphas leaned over, kissed Delphine and smashed the blade into her chest. The world went dark within two beats of her heart.
