S napping his fingers, a scroll appeared in the room.
Thick parchment with jagged edges and burned spots, Delphine could see the thick ink sprawled upon the page.
Malphas unrolled it and stalked to the large podium which appeared in the center of the foot of the bed.
Malphas was using all his magic tonight.
The thing she had been begging to see for months and that Malphas had said would drain him to the brink of death if he overused it.
Only tonight he was holding nothing back.
Looking around the room with tears falling down her face Delphine looked for a way out.
She had never tried to wake herself before, but maybe it was worth the try.
Hands chained above her head and legs now chained as well, Delphine couldn’t kick herself or pinch herself awake.
The bedding was too soft to bang her head against, maybe her hair would be long enough to rip at?
Bending her arm to grab at the strands of hair spread across the bed she grabbed a handful.
Delphine took a deep breath, clenched her teeth, closed her eyes and yanked.
The scream surged from her throat, tearing up and out of her body as her eyes opened and she was still there. Malphas strutted over smirking, a chuckle shaking his body as he leaned over her body and pulled the bloody hair strands from her hand.
“Little lamb, I put the sigils on your body to trap you here. You are here until you die and there is nothing you can do. Scream some more though. It makes me want to do even dirtier things to you.
