Page 85 of Brutal Little Secrets
We need her angry enough tomorrow to really lay into me.
“While I appreciate the offer, I’m not into rape of any kind.”
Olivia’s mouth opens, and she turns to look at Evan. “It’s not like she wouldn’t want it. But sure, if that’s not your thing, I get it. I want to give you what you want. You’re a hard guy to figure out. You wouldn’t even let me suck your dick.”
She pouts up at me like that’s going to make me want her anywhere close to me.
Chase walks in with some football players. Mia and Evan have started for the kitchen.
I need to shake Olivia permanently or at least until tomorrow night. Because tomorrow night I’ll find a way to neutralize her for good.
“You want me?” I meet her eyes, and she smiles, but looks skeptical.
If she were smarter, she wouldn’t trust me. But she’s so fucking lust-blinded, she’ll do anything I want.
“Find me a willing girl for tomorrow and we’ll do exactly what you want. The three of us.” I straighten from the wall. “I have shit to do tonight though.”
“Any girl I want?” Her eyes light up.
“Yeah, you pick the girl and tomorrow at Chase’s party we’ll party in his room.”
Olivia narrows her gaze. “You aren’t tricking me, right?”
“I guess we’ll find out tomorrow.”
EvanAnn
We’re in the kitchen when Chase finds me and Mia. Mia’s flirting with Wayne, who came up to talk to me, but she drew him into a conversation with her. If I were single, I might have mixed feelings about it, but right now, I’m just grateful she did before Damon decided to claim me again.
“What are we doing tonight?” Chase asks and glances in the backyard where there’s a beer pong table set up.
“It’s a nice night. Let’s go outside.” I turn and head out, knowing he’ll follow me. Mia’s fingers brush mine. I smile at her and she gives me a wink before talking more to Wayne.
Chase puts his fingers on my waist, but I don’t pull away. This time I’m using him. I’m no longer a pawn in his game. We go outside and, as I suspected, there’s a bunch of Anteros kids out here. And some of my cast is at the beer pong table already.
I head in that direction figuring he’d want to talk to our classmates too. The beer pong is the ultimate goal, anyway.
“Hey,” I say to Jason, who’s watching the game.
He smiles and holds his fist out to Chase. Chase bumps it while Jason says, “Glad to see you guys. You planning on playing?”
He nods to the table and the cups. Perfect. I couldn’t have scripted it better myself.
“I was planning on hanging with EvanAnn tonight.” Chase’s fingers ghost over the small of my back like he’s worried I’ll pull away if he actually touches me.
“I’ve heard you’re the best at it.” Jason smiles at both of us. It’s almost like Jason knows the role I need him to play.
“Yeah,” Hawk says. “Chase is the best?”
We both turn as Hawk joins us.
“I think it’s time that Iago and Cassio get a chance to take each other on in a fair fight.” Hawk smirks. “Winner gets the girl.”
“I’m not winnable, Hawk.” I roll my eyes and step closer to Chase, letting him think he has a claim on me. That I need him to protect me.
“Aren’t you, Annie?” His smile is so knowing my insides tumble over themselves.
I turn and put my hand on Chase’s chest. I smile up at him. “You should play, Chase. It’s a good team-building exercise. And maybe I’ll give the winner a kiss. And we all know who the winner will be.”
