Page 158 of Brutal Little Secrets
“That list of colleges Evan applied to is long, but it’s selective.” Damon shakes his head. “What if we don’t end up in the same state or even the same part of the country?”
Hawk runs a hand through his hair. “This seems like a conversation Annie should be part of.”
“Probably, but I’m not waking her up,” I say. “She needs her sleep.”
Especially if she’s going to keep up with us three and all the other things she does.
“We have this year, but after graduation and summer, we’ll probably be going separate directions.” Damon’s eyes are soft as he looks at Evan. He’s possessive of her. That he shares her with us is amazing, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. “I’d say we could see each other on weekends, but how reasonable is that? I’m going to be busy with hockey. Evan has her theater program. Hawk has academics. And Cam will have his fraternity.”
I drag in a breath as I get what he’s throwing down. Long distance won’t work for us. Not if we can’t even visit each other. “We won’t have time to travel to each other.”
I’d come to terms with losing my best friends when we went off to college, but I can’t imagine losing Evan too. Starting over is a little scary, but doable. Except I don’t want to lose this. Evan has brought us closer together.
“What if we tried to go to the same college or at least the same city, maybe state?” Hawk glances at each of us. “That could be a possibility, right?”
“You’re going to give up Columbia?” I scoff. That’s a huge ask. “You’ve been wanting to go there all your life.”
“Their team is D2, but it’s New York City. Surely we can all find a college in or near that.” Hawk glances at Damon. “Boston isn’t that far from New York City.”
“Yeah, but Boston isn’t exactly knocking on my door.” Damon zips up his pants. “At this point, I need to go with whatever hockey program will take me. That might be Yale.” Damon glances my way.
“Well, my dad would be thrilled.” I blow out a breath. “I don’t know if I’m Yale material though.”
“You’re smart enough if you stop dicking around.” Hawk fastens his pants. Apparently party time is over.
But I still have Evan on my dick. And while this isn’t a sexy conversation, her muscles clutch me every so often, keeping me hard.
“It’s not about being smart enough.” I lean my head back. “It’s about how much I want to work through college. Deimos sucks, man. And it’s a guarantee that any of the Ivies will be just as intense. I know Crowne Mawr will be difficult, but…”
I scrub my face. The future sucks. I just want time to keep being a punk before having to get on with my life.
“You could manage with us helping.” Damon leans his elbows on his knees.
“Fuck.” I straighten and Evan’s hips roll against mine even though she’s still asleep. “Give me a minute here.”
I slide my fingers between her legs and work her clit gently. She moans softly and rolls her head. When I grab her breast with my other hand and squeeze her nipple, a breath rushes out of her. Her hips rock against mine. The others are watching, but right now she’s all mine.
I rub her clit in little circles until her pussy clamps down on my cock as she comes. She arches against me as her cunt milks me. It’s enough to push me over the edge and finish inside her.
Her breathing is ragged as she shifts on my chest. “Did I fall asleep?”
“Yeah, goody. Time to go to Hawk.” I lift her, and Hawk helps her sit on his lap.
She blinks a few times and glances at the screen. Hawk pauses the film at the point in the movie where the ghost lights dance down the stairs.
“I guess we’ll have to watch this one again?” she asks as she snuggles against Hawk and yawns.
“Yeah.” Damon brushes her hair behind her ear. She gives him a sleepy smile. “We were talking about what happens after high school.”
“That’s a heavy conversation.” She stretches and glances over her shoulder at me.
Damon continues, “If we want this thing to last long term…”
She straightens. “Oh.”
“Do you not want that, Annie?” Hawk brushes his hand over her back. “If this isn’t something you think can work for you, let us know. We’ll still fuck you this year, but we’ll stay the course with our plans.”
She bites her lip and looks at each of us with wide eyes. She’s definitely awake now.
