One Month Later…
"Are you kidding me!"
I groaned out as I watched the rain come down and pound the small little chapel that I was inside of.
"I'm not," Liam had replied.
"It's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding," I rolled my eyes at him.
He had made everyone inside of the room, which had consisted of my sister, Astrid and her daughter Lexi, leave.
I stood before him in my wedding gown nervous as hell.
When he had asked me to marry him almost a month ago, he had crawled through my bedroom window in typical Liam fashion and awoken me by diving between my legs and causing me to orgasm into oblivion. When my ecstasy had subsided, he had pulled a ring out of his pocket, professed his love and asked me to marry him.
I had been lost for words.
He had begged me to just say something, anything.
So, I said the only thing I could say, "Yes."
Very quickly, we had planned this wedding. After that night, he had started staying over at my house and spending time with both Yara and Des. They adored him; he had insisted that he'd wanted siblings as a child and never got them. Yara, who was weary of men trusted Liam more than me because of what he had done to save her from being sold into a sex ring.
I'd found out that was where Capone had been on his way to when we'd located them. I still had nightmares that Yara and Des were missing and would wake up in cold sweats.
"Little Thief, we make our own luck," Liam said as he came in close and tilted my chin up to meet his mouth. “I am so in love with you that not even God himself would keep me from marrying you today. And as you can see it’s raining.”
At his words a crack of thunder crashed through the air and I pulled him in close. I didn’t want to tempt fate in any sort of unkind way. He crashed down on me and I could feel his desire for me right then and there as our lips met.
Coming up for air, "I love you too, but are you trying to have me right here and right now? Liam we're about to walk down the aisle. People are waiting."
He smiled that smile he usually wore for when he was going to punish me. "They can wait. I have to have you one more time before we're married."
Before I could say anything, he'd already started unbuttoning his pants. I'd moved to pull the white dress up around my waste when a knock started on the door.
"Aye, Nova, what are yall doing in there?" Des asked from outside the door.
I could feel my face heating up at being caught in the act.
"Nothing," I hollered back. "Be out in just moment."
"Little Thief....do you know what happens when don't give the head of the Bravta what he wants?"
I laughed and pulled him down for a quick kiss and then fixed my dress.
"I'm not sure," I replied with a wink and dashed over to the door. "But I feel like I'm going to find out on our honeymoon. But by then I'll be Mrs. Liam Safarayan so you'll have to take it easy on me. I'm about to be the boss's wife."
As the door swung open, I heard Liam laugh extremely loud behind me while trying to fix his clothes. Our family was waiting on the other side of the door laughing.
I couldn’t' wait to say, "I do."
The End
