Before he could say anything, she continued.
“I have to give it to you. You played your part beautifully. You sucked me in, and I was stupid thinking I’d found someone I could respect and love—a man to spend my life with.
Then you showed your true colors after I was pregnant.
All those times we were intimate were a lie.
Thinking about being with you makes me want to puke. ”
“Blythe, you don’t understand. Tell me. Are you carrying twins?” he sounded eager.
“Why do you care? You won’t get to sell my babies.”
“I need to know,” he said. His gaze was glued to her belly.
“Yes, I’m having twins. Bones and I are having daughters. We’re very happy.”
That got a reaction. Deon jerked his bound body and yelled. “Those aren’t Bones’ daughters! They’re mine. You can’t do this. They can’t call him dad.”
He sounded wild.
“It’s none of your concern. If you haven’t figured it out, you’re going to die, and so is Tavia.
These babies will never know you existed or your name.
Bones will be their father in every way that counts.
His name will be on their birth certificate.
They’ll be the same as your other children, out of your reach forever,” Blythe informed him.
“No! You can’t. Not these ones. They’re mine,” he ranted.
“I knew it! You do love her,” Tavia yelled hoarsely.
Deon turned his head to catch a glimpse of Tavia.
“Of course I do. I fell for her before she got pregnant. I was a fool. I should’ve taken her and disappeared.
Went where you and your family could never find us.
Instead, I let you control me and do those terrible things to her.
She didn’t deserve it. You were the one who told me to beat her for leaving the house without permission, or you’d do worse.
It made me sick. And because of it, I lost her,” he growled.
Damn, this was revealing more than I bargained for. I looked at Blythe. How was she taking this revelation? She appeared stoic.
Tavia and Deon yelled insults back and forth at each other. We let it happen for a minute or more, and then I shut it down. I wanted Blythe out of there.
“Enough!” I shouted. Leon went over and backhanded Deon in the mouth when they didn’t listen. The blood flew. Tavia shut up and cowered. It seemed that Leon had made a lasting impression on her.
When he returned to where he stood, Leon shrugged and said, “Sorry, they were making my head hurt.” I had to fight not to chuckle.
“Thanks for the assist. Firefly, is there anything else you want to say before you go home to rest?”
“Yes, there is. Deon, I said that you fooled me into thinking I could love you. I didn’t.
I know that now because I found the real deal in Bones.
It’s him I love beyond everything except our daughters.
We’re building an amazing life. As you meet your maker, although I think you’ll likely meet the devil, I want you to remember this.
You brought this all on yourself and got what you deserved.
And thanks to my man, his club, and their friends, an entire corrupt family has been eliminated.
I hope you both burn in the fires of hell forever,” she hissed. Then she turned to me.
“Show me,” she demanded of me.
“Show you what?”
“Show me the other side of Bones. The one you were afraid to let me see. Let him out. I love you no matter who you are. I know you’ll never hurt anyone who doesn’t deserve it.”
“Blythe, baby, no.”
“Yes. Please. No secrets.”
Agony came over to us. “Bones, let her see. She can handle it. Eliana loves all of me. It’s the same for the others. Look at Twisted and Zari. Give her closure, and then you two move on,” he said softly.
Hoping that I wasn’t making a terrible mistake, I gave in. “Not the entire time. You can see the start, but you and our daughters need to go home and sleep.”
“I promise,” she said.
I turned to Deon, who was watching us avidly. When he looked at Blythe, he showed pain and longing. When he looked at me, he showed hatred.
“Hulk, brother, would you bring over my chest?” I asked.
“I’d be happy to, brother,” he said as he happily went to fetch it.
I’d had it brought here earlier, and I knew I’d use it when I got my hands on Deon. He set it next to my feet. I moved Blythe back to stand next to Agony and Leon. That’s when I got down to business. I let the caring Bones slip away and let the vengeful Bones rise.
“Deon, you know I’m a doctor. It’s why I’m called Bones.
However, there’s more to me than meets the eye.
I’m not just a doctor. I’m a biker. And some things go against everything I believe in.
When they do, I don’t feel caring or helpful.
I want to inflict pain and cause people to suffer, but only those who deserve it.
You’ve earned it. Even if Blythe weren’t my old lady, I’d want to make you suffer, but I want it even more since she is.
What you and Tavia orchestrated is sickening.
And it was all for money, greed. And Tavia had money.
Her family wasn’t struggling. You’re both disgusting humans.
I’m going to use my skills as a doctor to bring you pain you can’t imagine. ”
“How are you any better than us if you do this?” he asked, trying to act brave, but his fear was present.
“Maybe I’m not, but I’ll have to stand for what I’ve done when I die.
I hope my deeds and who they were against count for me.
Now, what I’m about to do puts my skills as a doctor to work in a different way.
But I’m still a biker. I thought about this and wondered what I’d do to you when the time came.
Then I had an idea. You needed to experience some of what Blythe did the night she came stumblin’ into our compound.
She was covered in bruises, in pain, and terrified.
Then, she had pains that made her fear she was losing her baby.
I’ll start with the bruises, and since I’m such a caring kinda guy, I invite my brothers and new friend to participate if they’d like. ”
I slid my hand into my jean pocket and removed a pair of leather gloves and brass knuckles.
I wasn’t willing to tear up my hands on his worthless ass.
I have to work at the ER this coming weekend.
I caught sight of Hulk doing the same. Agony put on gloves.
Leon left his hands bare. I didn’t know if it was because he didn’t plan to hit or wanted skin-to-skin contact.
“Stop, you—” I cut off Deon’s protest with a fist to his stomach, which knocked the wind out of him. He tried to double over, but the way he was tied didn’t allow it. Before anyone else could punch him, I held up a hand.
“I think we should let him loose, don’t you? It’s only fair to give him a way to protect himself. It’s more than he would do for us, but we’re better men.”
“Sure, whatever you say,” Agony said.
Hulk came over and cut the ties holding him to the chair, as well as the ties that bound his arms and legs together. When he stepped back, Deon lifted his head.
“Get up or stay there. It’s your choice, but you will be beaten. The bruises you left on her were everywhere. She was black and blue and then green and yellow for weeks,” I snarled, recalling the sight. Then I rushed him.
He half fell out of the chair and scrambled on his fingers and toes to get away and stand simultaneously.
His hands went up to protect his face. This time, I punched him in the side, below his ribs on the left.
That was his liver. The others joined me.
We took our time, and Deon tried pathetically to fight back and protect himself, but it was useless.
Even if it had been one-on-one, it was apparent he couldn’t fight to save his life.
What amused me was that Tavia was yelling at us to hit him harder.
Eventually, he fell and curled up into the fetal position.
When he did, I kicked him a few times. Those landed on his kidney, stomach, and bladder.
He was sobbing when we were done. I turned to face my woman to see what she had to say.
I’d avoided doing it while we beat him. I was afraid to see her expression.
Blythe was calmly watching. Leon was standing next to her again, and they were quietly chatting.
I approached her slowly. Her smile made my body relax.
“I think you replicated those bruises spot-on, honey. I gotta say, I flashed back to that night for a moment or two.”
“I don’t want that. You should go to the house. I’ll have someone come walk you back.”
“No, continue. Just a little more.”
“Blythe…”
“Bones, I’m alright.”
Receiving a slight nod from Leon, I moved on to the next thing. “I need him in the chair and secured for this next one,” I said aloud.
Agony and Hulk were the ones who went to Deon and picked him up. They slammed him down on the chair and secured him again with zip ties they had in their cuts. Talk about always being prepared. While they did that, I went to my chest, opened the lid, and took out a piece of equipment. I held it up.
“There are so many great things out there these days. When I went to medical school, this wasn’t available.
I’m so happy it is now. Someone came up with the bright idea to simulate this for women’s partners.
Medical and nursing schools heard of it, and some decided that their students, who wanted to become doctors, physician assistants, and nurses, should understand what their patients felt.
I’ve got to say, I tried it on myself. It fucking hurts.
Women are badasses. Many of them go through this more than once.
This gadget is called a birth pain simulator machine. ”
It was a small handheld box with multiple leads and patches attached.
It was an electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) machine.
This one was programmed to increase the intensity of muscle contractions, mimicking the pains of childbirth.
It increased in intensity by ten levels.
This one had four channels, which meant it allowed me to cover both sides of the abdomen and the back.
There was tremendous pain in the back during labor.
I heard one of my guys whistle. I walked over to Deon.
Holding onto the EMS, I grabbed the neck of his T-shirt and jerked, ripping it away.
This left his upper body bare. Working quickly, I attached the pads where they would give the most coverage.
When they were in place, I stepped back and smiled.
“This is what Blythe had to suffer due to you. I can’t mimic the fear, but I can hurt you worse than she hurt. And how those other women you impregnated did when they had your children and you threw them away to be used,” I snarled the last part.
I didn’t start at level one. I wasn’t that nice. Instead, I put it on three. He jerked but didn’t say much. I ramped it up to five after a minute or more. His face grimaced, but he made no sound. He was up to seven and crying out in pain when Blythe came to me. She held out her hand.
“May I have a turn?”
“Of course you can,” I told her as I handed over the controls.
I expected her to take him to eight. Eight, nine, and ten were incredibly painful.
It also made the pain race down the legs.
I hadn’t lied. Women were beasts for enduring this, even if only a little, and more than once.
I was pretty sure if we men had to have the babies, the world population would be drastically smaller, and most would have a single child.
Deon screamed and writhed in his bonds. I glanced over and saw she’d gone straight to ten. She left him there for about five minutes before handing it back. Deon was slumped in the chair, whimpering and senseless. I shut it off. There was no use continuing if he had become numb to it.
“Goddamn, Bones, you sure brought a new toy to the party. I’ve got to borrow that once in a while from you,” Hulk told me. The gleam in his eye told me he would have even more fun with it.
“Honey, I think I’ll head back to the house, take a nice bath, and then go to bed. I’ll see you when you’re through. Love you,” Blythe said out of nowhere. She raised and kissed my mouth. I kissed her back. There was no hesitation.
When she stepped back, she whispered. “Make him bleed, and that bitch needs to suffer more. Make me proud.”
Hearing her more or less approve of my other half, a growl of pleasure escaped, and I half got hard. She winked, then turned to the others. “Would one of you guys be willing to walk me home? I know Bones will worry if I go alone. Or I can see if someone else will do it.”
“I’m here and will gladly escort you,” Dimitri said from the shadows.
“We’d do it, but we hate to miss the fun. I messaged the prospects, and Dimitri volunteered,” Agony told her.
I watched as she went to the prospect. He held out his arm for her to hold. I should be jealous, but I wasn’t. He’d saved her twice, and I got nothing but brotherly vibes from him. I knew Blythe loved me.
“Take care of her,” I called out.
“With my life, Bones,” he replied, and then they walked out.
“That guy needs a patch soon. He’s been proving himself hard lately,” Hulk muttered.
“Let’s get rid of the last of the trash, and we’ll talk,” was Agony’s retort.
