It’s barely a moment before I get Jake’s reply.be over in 20

The smile on my face probably needs its own postcode.

I’m watching out the window, and when I see Jake coming up the footpath, I bound down the stairs to open the front door before he knocks.

“Now, that’s service,” he says.

“You know me. I aim to please.”

“So, how’s my sister, dude?” Jake asks with a grin as he steps inside.

“Very funny,” I say as I shut the door behind him. Then I grab him and kiss him. I’ve been desperate to do that all day. Since last night, actually.

Jake kisses me back just as eagerly. We’re both panting when we pull away.

“I brought my geo textbook.” He slings his bag off his shoulder. “I’ve really got to do some studying for my quiz.”

“How about you study between rounds?” I suggest.

Jake’s eyes darken with lust. “That’s a great suggestion,” he says. “Incentivized study.”

“I’ll work hard to find some reward you want.” I nuzzle into the warm spot between his neck and shoulder. I love the way Jake’s whole body shivers when I kiss that one particular spot.

“We better take this upstairs,” he says.

“You have the best ideas.”

We make it to my room without touching each other, but once we’re inside with my door shut firmly, all bets are off.

We’re naked in record time, stretched out on my bed.

“Beds are such a great invention,” Jake says as he kisses down my chest, his breath coming in small puffs against my skin.

“You’ve got to love a good bed,” I agree with a low moan.

I love how everything is so relaxed and easy between us now. How Jake’s hands and mouth on me are so familiar. How we know exactly the right way to make each other feel good.

I love running my hands over his body, love how touching him in seemingly random places can make him shiver. The inside of his elbow, along his collarbone, down his hip. I brush his skin lightly, making him tremble.

“Logan,” Jake croaks, and even though I could tease Jake like this all day, I take pity on him and give him what he wants.

After he’s come completely undone, he shimmies down the bed and takes me into his mouth. I practically levitate off the bed because Jake’s a science guy who has been very thorough in his experiments about how my body works. And he definitely knows how to get the right results.

And afterward, I love how we remain connected, my arm around his waist, our lower legs intertwined.

Yep, the bed experience is definitely not overrated. But thinking about that makes me think about last night, how I let my desperation to see and touch Jake completely override all rational thought.

“I can’t believe how stupid we were last night,” I say.

“It wasn’t one of our smartest ideas,” Jake agrees. He draws back to prop himself on one elbow so he can stare at me, although his foot remains pressed between my calves. “You okay about everything?”

I try for a lighthearted tone. “What do you mean? Am I okay that I’m a stud prodigy who is supposedly hooking up with your sister?”
