Story: The WitchSlayer
“How can you tell if I am a White Witch?”
She turned her face back to Amalia. “Although nobody believes me because they refuse to, I have met others like you.” Then she frowned, a sigh leaving her shortly after. “Even though some of themhaveturned in the past century.”
The fact that she could tell that Amalia meant no harm to anyone, eased her. She felt her shoulders relaxing as she became less apprehensive.
“I am Nyotakara the Brash.” She seemed to pout at her own title. “I have heard that your name is something sweet.”
“Amalia Swafford.” She seemed to be awaiting something, much like how the Dragon once had. “I have no title.”
She nodded like she understood and then turned to the chests in the room. Seeming to tackle one of them, she managed to pry it open.
“He hates it that I can move through his magic so easily. Most spells cannot hold family back.” She pulled out a book and began to read it. “Would you like to go through them?”
“I do not wish to read dark spells, and he has told me he would not like for me to go through them.”
Her face of interest faded. The female tossed the book inside and closed the chest once more, like she no longer cared about them, but Amalia knew she was happy with her response because she grinned.
“I think Ru has wisely chosen to allow you to roam then. I wanted to check for myself since I did not want my favourite brother to be in danger.”
“You trust him that much?”
“Of course. He may be dull at times, but he knows your kind better than anyone. I am more surprised that he has taken an obvious interest in you when he cannot stand most. He gets it from our mother.” Her gaze trailed over Amalia once more while cocking an eyebrow. “I must say, it does not seem like you are against it.”
She couldn’t stop her cheeks from heating further. “Uh, well, you see. It is-”
“What is in it for you?” She folded her arms over her bare chest. “What are you trying to seduce my brother for? You obviously do not plan to harm him. Is this your way of trying to escape?”
“Who says I am the one seducing him?”
Amalia may be hesitant about this woman, but she wasn’t a coward. She dully raised her chin.
“That male does not know how to seduce anyone. He takes what he wants by force, like most male Dragons.”
“I would have to disagree. I am not doing this for any reason other than what it is. I have no plans on escaping and-”
“You like him,” Nyotakara chuckled while shaking her head. Once more her cheeks heated. “Silly woman, he has no interest in you other than having a wet hole for him to fuck.”
Amalia narrowed her gaze.
“And he has a hard cock that feels good. I know that this is nothing more than what it is, and I have no intention of pretending that it is not.”
She closed the small distance between them to grab Amalia by the cheeks. Then, to her uttermost surprise, she nuzzled her nose against her own.
She did nothing but blink as she was unsure of what was happening.
“I like you. You are soft but not timid.” She stepped back with a grin. “Then again, I think timidness would bore him.”
She seemed to listen out as her eyes wandered. After a moment, she finally brought them back to her.
“Well, I’d best be leaving before he discovers I am still here and speaking with his pet. I would not tell him we spoke if you do not wish to face one of his terrible temper-tantrums.”
She twinkled her fingers behind her in a wave as she walked to the alcove entryway. She ducked her head out to check that the coast was clear and then ran up the tunnel, leaving Amalia to wonder about the strange conversation they just shared.
And he calls me odd.
Rurik made his way to the main room of his lair and stood in front of Glov with his hands on his hips, staring up at the green Dragon.
He then told him what he found at Mahesh’s home and the events that followed.
