Story: The WitchSlayer
His brows drew together when she lifted a hand toward his head which was low enough for her to reach it. She stroked it once before ducking underneath his chin to check him.
“I see your wounds have almost closed up. I did not know you healed so well on your own.”
It was because he’d licked them or used the back of his paw to spread his saliva. His saliva had healing properties for small wounds, like cuts, so healing them was a relatively short process. Unfortunately, it did little for anything like muscle or bone injuries.
He’d be spared of any scarring around his throat, but he was unsure if his arm would be unmarred.
Bringing his head back, he twisted it when he looked at her. She brought her eyes to him.
“You are not angry?”
Where is the yelling, the screaming, the acid tongue?
She held the furs tighter against her chest, but a small smile played across her lips.
“No, I am not angry with you.”
I do not understand. The first time I was careful with her, this time I was forceful. He tried to think on what he did better but couldn’t think of a single answer.
“Will you tell me why?”
She backed up a step, using her free hand to wrap herself completely since her back was exposed. Before she turned away from him, she tucked her long curling blonde hair behind a single ear self-consciously.
“You complimented me.”
Did I?He thought on the words he could remember speaking to her.
She frowned when she turned to look at his face.
“You do not remember, do you?”
His nose bunched in embarrassment.
Blasted. What did I say to her? She’d almost woken up elated and he worried that him forgetting would upset her.
She flitted around the tub nervously. He could tell she wanted to fill it, but didn’t want to do it in front of him. While she wasn’t facing him fully, she smiled to herself.
“You called me beautiful.”I did?He noticed a light blush heated against the bridge of her nose. “Said that you wanted me. And then when you were calmer, you kept telling me I was soft, and warm, and good as you touched me.”
He blinked, watching her fidget with the furs while averting her gaze. Her wordsdidremind him, and he grinned. She is pleased with me.
“I thought you only wanted me because I was the easiest choice. That, if it had been any other woman here, you may have done the same because you had not told me otherwise. I had not known you had wanted me... for me.”
He was just about to open his mouth to tell her he did, but then closed it.
Then he actually thought about the words he had muttered to her after the first time. He’d known what he meant, but his answer had been short. He hadn’t bothered to expand on them at the time because he hadn’t thought he needed to.
She did not know how I was feeling.
Now that he had actually told her something, she was happy with him.She may want to do this again with me.
The idea of that elated Rurik to no end.
He rose to his feet while opening his mouth to speak, but her eyes suddenly narrowed at her hands.
She lifted one and inspected her wrist in close detail before looking at the other. Walking to the long, cloudy mirror, she spun the fur around and then opened the front of it to look at her own naked body.
“What did you do to me!?” she yelled, staring at herself in horror.
