Story: The Vampire Oracle
“Mhm.”
I rolled my eyes but didn’t step away. I enjoyed his heat, though not fully enjoying the man it belonged to. He was cocky and a handful, though I liked that.
“Up to your standard?” he asked.
“Barely, but it will do.”
He let out a breath of laughter. “We will talk after your shower, Spectre.”
“Psalm,” I corrected.
“Mhm. Ashbourne, right.” His hand caressed my side and lower back before he left. I glanced at him and his wide build before he closed the door behind him, trapping me and Abel.
“Look at you two getting along so well,” Abel teased.
Rolling my eyes, I kicked off my boots. I refrained from asking him to join me, part of me not wanting him to see me naked with this arm. I couldn’t change it back to a flesh color with it being broken.
“Here let me help you,” Abel said.
Snorting, I unbuttoned my pants and slid all those clothes waist down off, besides my panties. “I can do this myself, Abel. I’m used to not using both hands.”
“Okay,” he said as I stepped into the massive tub. I started the hot water before turning back to him. He hasn’t moved, eyes locked onto my ass. “Oh! Sorry.”
But I laughed. “Thank god, you don’t look at me like…”
“Like what?” he asked, kicking off his shoes and pulling his shirt off.
Now, I was staring. My eyes wandered his toned body, taking in the abs he had and the deep v leading to his pants.
“Like what, Psalm?” he asked again, hands moving to his pants. His cock was half hard, and I knew how big he could get for me.
“Just… ugly.”
With a suck of his teeth, he moved to me, reaching up and caressing my cheeks. “You will never be ugly to me.”
A breath escaped me as I reached up with my left hand and pulled him into a kiss. Our lips touched, and the moment I tasted him, heat blazed within me. He closed the space between us when I moaned into his mouth. I ached for this confirmation that things weren’t different.
“Let’s get cleaned off first,” he muttered against my lips.
I huffed, though we should. Vampire blood covered most of my body, and I probably didn’t smell good.
Abel opened the drawers next to the sink which was fully stocked with fancy soaps and shampoos. I slowly removed the rest of my clothes, and the dead arm just dropped at my side.
“Can you take it off?” he questioned.
“Then I’ll be armless in front of…” you. I didn’t realize how insecure I was about my arm until I faced one of the men I liked. I knew I was stunning, toned with muscles I worked for and tattoos that covered most of my body. I was beautiful, sexy, and hot, but the idea of being this naked was overwhelming.
“If you are worried about me, don’t be. This is the rest of you, yes?”
My head nodded.
“You are Spectre, and you care about what I think?”
I chuckled, rolling my eyes.
“Seems like someone likes me more than they want to admit.”
“Get out of here,” I laughed.
