Story: The Vampire Oracle
I had never been religious despite going to a priest academy. This was the first time I wouldn’t have minded getting on my knees in front of two priests.

“Will you tell V I said hello?” I asked Cozen when we got to the train station. The whole car ride was silent, and I was playing what he said to me this morning over and over in my head.
He hummed a noise and nodded.
That might be the only thing I get out of him.
With a sigh, I watched as he threw his bag on his back. He then paused.
“Remember… that promise you made me make when we were younger?” Cozen finally spoke, but I blinked.
I didn’t know what I meant.
“That we would see each other again?”
Now I did. I nodded.
His eyes moved to me, over his shoulder. “Don’t let it be at a gravestone, Psalm. Be careful. I have a gut feeling something bad is coming and I would rather you run from it instead of being hardheaded and facing it head-on.”
My lips closed as I stared at his back. I grew up with him always protecting me. It hurt him to not be around me, to the point where he doesn’t like to remember things. “Goodbye, Coz.”
“Goodbye, P. Don’t destroy my arm,” he grumbled before moving to step on the train. I tried not to stare; he wasn’t even going to look at me. But when the door closed and the train began moving, our eyes met.
And just like that, he was gone again.
I sighed as Abel hugged my shoulder.
“Don’t worry,” Kier assured. “You’ll see your boyfriend again.”
Beck shook his head, laughing. “Yeah, because we all know she’s going to break that arm soon.”
I rolled my eyes, moving away from the trio. Abel stayed close to me, fingers rubbing my hand. He was very… touchy and right now I didn’t mind.
“You know, I liked him,” Abel said as we all got into Kier’s car. He and I were in the back of the truck while Beck and Kier were in the front, Kier driving.
Kier growled. “I didn’t like him.”
“That’s because Kier is threatened by him, even though he never will ever have a chance with me,” I teased.
He glared at me in his mirror before driving off. “And yet, you came onto me today.”
“Oh my god,” I said, rolling my eyes. “Get over yourself!”
“Telling me to take you and shit. I didn’t even know what to do!”
I let out a laugh.
“What actually happened?” Abel questioned.
“We kissed, he got a boner, and I left him tied to the concrete with Alchemy.”
Abel made a noise. “You… did that?” I could see the lust in his eyes.
I smirked. “Do you want to be tied up, Abel?”
