Story: The Vampire Oracle
“Besides the two gay guys. They sadly don’t want to see your beautiful body,” Abel said, pulling Psalm into a kiss.
My eyes rolled as I turned away. How did he get her before me?
“Oh, I want to see it,” Jinn wiggled his brows. “She’s gorgeous, and I would be honored, might even get a boner.”
“Ready, Ashbourne?” I chuckled, moving from around the kitchen island.
Her eyes dropped over my body, and I almost thought this was the first time she saw me dressed up. My jet-black hair was pulled up into a messy bun. I had on nice shoes with my black dress shorts and a black t-shirt. I didn’t miss her lingering around the bulge in my pants. What can I say? I’m a shower and a grower.
“Only us?” Psalm groaned, teeth biting on her bottom lips.
“Mhm. A date if you will.”
“Now, I’m gagging,” she muttered, rolling her eyes as she handed over a phone to Abel.
“What’s this?”
“Kennedy’s. It might help with her whereabouts or she if was getting into demonic shit or something.”
My jaw tightened. That was where she was? Being hero?
“Okay,” Abel muttered, sharing a look with Osiris who moved to him.
“How did you get that?” Osiris asked, arms crossed.
“I don’t need another person yelling at me, especially as your pathetic brother did it already.”
“Pathetic?” The growl rose in my chest. “Go get in the fucking car before I throw you into it.”
Psalm groaned, and I ached to teach her some respect for me. “I hate this.”
Beck kissed Psalm, hands caressing her wide round ass. “You’ll survive.”
After Abel and Beck got their kisses that they couldn’t live without, we started out of the house. I didn’t miss the quick glance she gave Briar when we were walking out. She wanted to kiss him too.
The door closed behind us, and I placed my hand on her lower back.
“Where are we going?” she asked, barely stiffening under my touch.
I opened the passenger door for her and closed the door of my SUV when she was inside. I got into the front, putting the key in the ignition.
“Where are we going, Kier?” she repeated. I was surprised she got this far with me. I truly thought she was not going to come down wearing the dress.
“Be a good girl and be quiet,” I ordered.
“You got the wrong good girl,” she scoffed as I drove away from the house.
“Ashbourne,” I growled.
“Just tell me where we are going. This is definitely not a date.”
“Why not?” My eyes brows pulled together.
“You don’t do dates, mister-I-can-get-pussy-from-whoever-I-want. This isn’t a date for us.”
My chest tightened, and I remained silent. Yes, I knew at the rank I was and how handsome I was I could get pussy from anyone, but her. And why did that hurt to understand? I could see her looking at me out of the corner of her eyes.
“Why did that hurt your feelings?”
