Story: The Vampire Oracle
“Of course,” I said with a sigh, thankful I didn’t have to say the actual words and admit it.
“So say it. Tell me you miss me.”
My throat dried. “You came all the way for that?! From the other side of town.”
“Yes, now say it. Tell me you missed me because we both know you did.”
I swallowed. “So what? Why do I have to say it then?”
He moved closer, and I couldn’t back up anymore, or we’d both be on the bed. “You seem to forget what this is. We are together. I’m not going to be pushed away because you can’t admit your feelings and—”
“I can. I just don’t see the point if you already know my feelings.”
“I love you,” he said, and the world fell still. “You don’t have to say that, but being away from you made me realize I loved you more than anyone I have ever met, and I couldn’t stop thinking about you. Does Psalm know how to paint a room? Has she ever painted a room? Has she eaten or drank anything? No one is with her to confirm that. I couldn’t get you out of my head.”
“Sounds like a bad infection.”
He chuckled, grabbing my hips and pulling me against his body. His warmth, his sweet cologne, engulfed me. I wanted to sob; I missed him. He dipped his lip, and I tilted my head back to meet his lips. His piercing was cold against my lips.
Both hands grabbed his face, sighing against his taste. “I don’t want to be without you,” I muttered, though it came out broken and a mess.
His hands grabbed my thighs, and though they were sore, he pulled me up against him. My arm and legs wrapped around him as he carried me to the bed. Slowly and carefully, he set me down.
“I didn’t come here for sex,” he muttered against my lips. “It took a lot to get here.”
I could imagine. Gas was almost ten dollars a gallon, and he and I were broke as Rookies, and that’s why he was supposed to stay at his mom’s; less gas money.
“I know,” I muttered, pulling his shirt off. I needed him. I wanted to tell him that, but I couldn’t. I couldn’t communicate how I felt.
His dreads fell over his shoulder, and I could tell he had just gotten the roots done, probably by his mother.
His mouth was on my neck as he lay over me. My thighs spread to make him move closer.
“Abel,” I moaned, eyes closing.
“Tell me what you want,” he muttered.
Heat rolled in my stomach as he grew against my core. His hands moved down my hips, and I imagined him fingering me. I knew Osiris was good, but Abel’s fingers were magic. I trembled, wanting to tell him I needed him. I missed him and couldn’t stop thinking about him. I wanted to tell him about my whole day like he was there, but I blew it. I was too hard to be in a relationship. I pushed people away and had with him. The anticipation was too much. “I missed you,” I blurted out.
Abel pulled back, looking down at me.
My face burned. “Abel, please don’t make me repeat myself. This is hard.”
“I can tell. You’re heart’s beating like crazy.”
My throat was dry as I tried to look anywhere but his face.
But he grabbed my face and leaned into me more. “I missed you too.”
I swallowed, kissing him hard. Heat burst between us, electrifying my body. We moved quickly, shredding each other’s clothes off. Before I could even think again, he was sliding inside of me.
A moan escaped me, fingers running up his toned back.
Even Abel took a moment to inhale sharply. But he sat on his feet, pulling a pillow to put under my hips.
“What are you—”
He fucked me, and all the pleasure hit me at once. My body crumpled, unable to fight it as he fucked me hard and deep.
