Page 38 of Ruthless Beast
In the chaos, I do something that takes me by surprise. I lift her off the ground and kiss her. At first, she struggles and kicks against me. But soon, my crazed captive stops fighting back. My head is spinning as my tongue darts in and out of her warm, perfect mouth. Emily kisses like she fights—with every ounce of passion she has.
My body is reacting with such passion that I find it hard not to carry her across the floor to the bed, rip off the clothes I bought for her, and make raw, frenzied love to her. The argument is now all but forgotten as the two of us lose ourselves in the most spectacular kiss I’ve ever had.
I pull back for a second and stare into Emily’s eyes. The passion I see in them only eggs me on, so I kiss her again. I realize that I’m still holding onto her wrists, but she doesn’t seem to mind. Emily isn't fighting it. This woman is driving me crazy.
I put her down so that her feet are firmly on the floor before I reach down and kiss her left breast. The nipple is hard under my tongue, so I bite down very gently. Emily moans softly and throws back her head.
“I want you,” I whisper.
I’m still holding her wrists behind her back. What started as an act of self preservation has quickly morphed into a delicious game of dominance. I’m hard with excitement.
“I want you, Emily,” I say again, a little louder and more forcefully this time.
The object of my lust doesn't say a word, but her eyes are challenging me—daring me to take what I want. Do I do it? Is this a good idea? My mind is swimming in a sea of endorphins. I cannot trust myself to make the right decision here.
Don’t do this, Lucas. This is a mistake.
My mind is telling me that this is wrong, but my body is dancing to its own tune. I’m at a crossroads, and I have to make a decision pretty quickly.
A knock on the door makes up my mind for me.
“Boss! I’m sorry to interrupt, but I need to talk to you.”
Damn it!
The words snap me out of the dreamy state I’m in. I let go of Emily’s wrists and step back.
“I’m so sorry,” I stammer. “I have to go. We’ll talk later.”
Emily doesn’t say a word. She’s breathing heavily. So am I. I’m aware that my erection is visible for all to see, so I shift my shaft to the side as best I can before I leave the room.
“This isn’t over,” she says calmly before I close the door behind me.
Yeah, no kidding! I know it isn’t. In fact, I have a feeling that this is just the beginning. Of what, though, I have no idea.
“Sorry, Boss. I didn’t mean to interrupt you.”
“It’s okay, Donny. What’s up?”
“I thought you might want to know that our ears on the ground have learned some info on David’s murder.”
“Okay. Who did it?”
“Well, we’re not sure who the shooter is yet, but we know who’s behind it all.”
“Gallo?”
“Yeah.”
“I had a feeling.”
“Do you want us to do something about him, Boss? Just say the word, and he’s history.”
“No. I don’t want to start a gang war now. Let me give it some thought. Thank you, Donny.”
“Sure thing, Boss.”
“I know what you’re thinking, Donny, and I assure you we will show our strength very soon. Gallo is no fool. He’ll be expecting retaliation, so he’ll be ready for us if we attack. The time isn’t right. You make sure no one, and I mean no one, does anything to the Gallo family. If he gets as much as a paper cut without my say, there’ll be hell to pay. You got me?”
