Story: Ours Later
“Omegas naturally get easily overwhelmed with a lot of choices too,” Millie says. “Those are all normal things we all go through. It’s something Eleanor, the owner, was adamant about when she opened the store.”
“I love that we’ve been able to furnish an entire house in one place,” Cooper sighs. “I might have lost my mind with a million stops.”
Ethan smirks. “Savannah thanks you for saving them from that,” he says as Cooper rolls his eyes.
“Thank you again,” I tell her as we leave. My stomach growls and I rub it with a wince. “Okay, I’m starving now.”
“Food first,” Riley says as we leave. “Then, we’ll go home and at least get our bed set up for tonight.”
“I still can’t believe it’s being delivered so fast,” I say.
“George may have pulled in a few favors,” Cooper says. “Let’s just say I was very motivated.”
Riley throws his arm around my shoulders and pulls me closer to him as we walk, while I daydream about how everything is just falling into place.
Twenty-Eight

Ihad to fight Ethan for this date. I go back on my medical rotations tomorrow, which is the reason I won. Cooper just smirked and said he was retiring so he could spend all of his time with Nina.
Smug fucker. He’s earned it, but damn.
“I’ve never been allowed down here,” Nina says in wonder as we walk through Factors Row. The historic area is charming, and it gives me a chance just to stroll around and hold her hand.
“I had a feeling you hadn’t,” I say. “I figured we could play tourist, grab lunch, and then hang out on a bench and make out."
The last part makes her grin up at me as I wink at her. We’ve been in the house for a week, and it’s starting to come together. It’s amazing what three alphas can do when they work together.
Her short blue green dress reminds me of her eyes as it flirts with danger. It hits about mid thigh and is tied to the side. She makes me want to drag her into a corner so I can do really dirty things to her.
Nina inhales deeply and I realize she cansmell me as her pupils begin to dilate. It’s almost October, and as the world makes her cry less, her sinuses are less inflamed.
“You smell like you want to fuck me,” she purrs, making me bark out a laugh as we walk.
“That’s because I do,” I reply. “Honestly, when don’t I though?”
“The three of you tend to attack me in the hallway,” she teases me.
It’s not my fault she’s irresistible. I’ve heard that newly mated packs tend to be insatiable, but this is very intense. I fucking love every second of it.
The two of us walk down the cobbled streets, and on a whim duck down some stairs to the lower levels.
“This feels like we’re in another world,” she murmurs.
The sounds of people and cars fade away as we continue walking underneath a bridge. Well, maybe a quickie wouldn’t be terrible if I find there’s no one down here. Nina drops her chin with a smile, attempting to hide it.
Sometimes, I think she misses the wig because it helped her hide better. Now, her gorgeous face is on display.
I don’t want her to hide, I want her to fucking fly.
“Ethan’s getting his classes to transfer and is going to start school down here soon,” I tell her.
“Mmm. I think that’ll be good for him,” she murmurs. “I don’t know what I want to do yet. I can start applying so I can get in for the spring semester.”
“I think you should write,” I confess. It’s something I’ve been thinking about often. She has a notebook that she uses to make notes in, but I don’t know what about. “Start with blog posts, and by the time spring semester rolls around, you’ll know if that’s what you want to pursue.”
“What would I write about?” she asks. “I’ve played with the idea of writing about what it’s like to be an omega as a counter to all of the stupid rhetoric I see online. It’s so easy to get caught up in a world where someone else makes decisions for you.”
