Story: Distorted Obsession
Chad shoves me, and I growl, but he doesn’t let up. “Were you dropped on your head as a baby?”
I move to push him back when Brad shoulder checks me. “Why in the fuck would you touch Eva without permission?”
Springing to my feet, I ignore the pain from my throbbing face and continue to toss any and everything possible into my bag.
“Answer the goddamn question, Thad. Your stupidity screwed us all,” Chad hisses. “You stupid, selfish prick. Was it worth it?”
The rancor in his tone leaves no room to miss his disdain for my actions, but fuck him… fuck them both… fuck every goddamn person who caused Candace’s death. She was supposed to be mine and that twisted fuck took her from me. And for what? Some depressed bitch who can’t see past her melancholic storm to realize she’s being used.
Eva Fucking Pierce deserves what she got. I’m just pissed I didn’t get to rail her until she bled out. I groan at how fucking tight she was around just my fingers.
Chuckling, I reply. “That pussy is so good that it’s almost worth the death I’m courting.”
It’s a stupid thing to say. Especially when I knowthey’relistening, but it’s the truth. If that bitch Mason hadn’t interrupted me, I could’ve made my imminent demise worth it.
They both guffaw, their disappointing, judgmental glares try to immobilize me, but there’s no time for their bullshit.
“You’re a dumb motherfucker, you know that?” Brad laments.
Thank you, Captain Obvious!
“I don’t have time for any of this. I need to get the fuck out of here,” I shout, zipping my bag without any care for whatever clothes are not fully packed inside.
“You won’t escape this,” Chad states. “You won’t make it to the Groveton town line.”
I’m not an idiot, I know I’m a dead man walking. My time on this earth is ticking down to zero. None of that means I have to wait for the reaper to come get me.
With my suitcase in hand, I exit my bedroom.
“If you own your fuck up, you may have a chance,” Brad offers, alerting me they are following close behind.
Pausing at the entryway, I snort and turn to face them. “If you two want to live, I suggest you follow suit,” I warn, but the look of disbelief in their eyes tells me they don’t think they’re in any real danger.
Their wildly different reaction causes the hair on my nape to rise.
Shaking off the stirring in my gut, I give them my back and turn the door knob. If they want to stay here and die, that’s on them.
I only make it a few steps when I’m cracked in the back of my head, and everything goes black.
Fuck my head hurts.
As I open my bleary eyes, I try to remember why every part of me feels like someone beat me with a sledgehammer.
“Nice of you to finally join us.”
I freeze, recognizing the voice instantly. My eyes snap open, and I take in my surroundings.
The familiar, dank, rundown warehouse comes into focus. Plastic covers the walls and the floor of the room where Chad, Brad, and I used to have our fun.
“No… no… no,” I mutter, my gaze flitting about the room before it lands on my best friends.
I try to lunge forward, but meet resistance. “What the fuck?” I snarl as I take in the heavy-duty stainless steel wrist cuffs. I can’t see my feet, but I already know they’re bound. And by thestiffness of my dick freely bobbing, I know I’m no longer wearing any clothes.
They put me on the goddamn St. Andrew’s cross.Naked.
“Tsk, tsk, tsk. Is that any way to treat Judas and Brutus? Oh look, they still rhyme,” they mock, pulling my attention from where Chad and Brad are standing. “Honestly, I don’t know if your parents all sat down and decided to name you three stooges.”
“Why am I here?” I demand, and the asshat ruling our very existence chuckles.
