Not sure what to expect, I closed my laptop and looked at the page, counting down three paragraphs.
He laid me back on the bed and spread my legs wider than they’d ever been. I didn’t care about the pain. Only the pleasure I knew would be coming from his perfect, thick pink cock. As soon as he pressed into me, I knew I’d been right. He filled me like I’d never been filled before. Satisfied me like I’d never been satisfied before.
Mom laughed even harder. “You should see your face!”
Thank god she was looking at my face and didn’t have X-ray vision to see through the laptop covering my lap, because damn, Mara had painted a mental image like none other. “How long have you been reading this?” I asked her, handing back the book.
“This is only the first chapter!” She giggled. “Your father is going to be so happy tonight.”
“Sheesh,Mom, I don’t need to hear about this.”
She was already staring at the book again, giggling, and I adjusted myself, then got up. “I’m going for a walk.”
“Mhmm,” she said, already completely distracted.
I hung my suit jacket over the chair and stepped outside with my phone. I dialed Mara’s number as I walked down the sidewalk. It was a warm day for January, and the morning sun felt good against my back.
After a few rings, Mara picked up. She must have had me on speaker because I could hear the gurgle of an old coffee pot in the background. “Hello? Did I forget something in your car?”
“Not at all. I just thought I’d call to let you know you have a new fan.”
“And who would that be?” Just from the tone of her voice I could imagine a smile on her face.
“Me. Thanks to my mother. She’s reading your book and completely ignoring me now.”
“Oh my gosh, which book is she reading? Some of my older books are a little rough.”
Her nerves made me laugh because she had no reason to be nervous. That scene had painted a plenty clear picture. “I didn’t see the title, but she may have shown me a passage.”
“Oh no.”
“Oh yes,” I said, chuckling. “It was quite... descriptive.”
“Well now I’m blushing.”
“That must be a first, making you blush.” I paused at the corner, waiting on a car so I could cross the road. “It was hot. The bit that I read.”
“Tell me about it,” she said.
I cleared my throat. “I better not, standing in broad daylight with no laptop to cover me up.”
She giggled gleefully. “Jonas Moore, are you saying you were turned on by my writing?”
“Don’t get too full of yourself,” I said. “It’s been a while.” I instantly regretted saying it, embarrassment heating my ears just as thoroughly as the sun. “Are you ready for tonight?”
She paused for a moment, the sound of the coffee pot now silent. “I think so. Charlotte should have emailed you talking points to go over. It would be great if you practiced them. I wouldn’t be in this mess if I had stuck to my own damn talking points.”
“I got them. I’ll be sure to memorize them before this afternoon.”
“Great,” she said. “Do you want to ride with me? There might be limited parking, so...”
“Sure,” I said.
“Meet me at my house. We’re taking my truck.”
