“I know,” Gregory confirmed.

Landon looked up at him sharply. “If you know, then why do you do it?”

“Because it’s not a limit.” Gregory sipped his own wine with a small smirk. “Is it?”

“It wasn’t before.”

“Is it now? If your limits have changed, Landon, you have to tell me.” Gregory sounded amused, but also concerned, and Landon appreciated that. But he’d meant what he said then, and he still meant it now. He was committed to offering himself to Gregory entirely this time. No partial promises like before.

“It’s not a limit,” Landon told him. “It’s an annoyance.”

“Like a fly stuck between your window and your blinds kind of annoyance?”

“Something like that,” Landon mumbled. “Can you not push me on this?”

Gregory shook his head. “It’s my responsibility to push you on this. And on other things.”

“I don’t want to do it halfway, okay?” Landon blurted, his voice raised. “I want you to have everything. So, just let me give you everything.”

Gregory’s face softened and he cupped his hands around Landon’s cheeks. He stared at him and every fleck of gold that Landon could see in Gregory’s eyes was like shrapnel, careening into his heart.

“You don’t need togiveme anything,” Gregory assured him. “I’ll take what I want.”

Landon’s eyelashes fluttered and fell closed. He nodded, parting his lips. With a handful of choice words, Gregory could bring Landon to his fucking knees. He’d always been able to, and that apparently hadn’t changed.

“All you need to know is that whatever I do to you will please me. If I make you hurt, or come, or evenwait.” Gregory took Landon’s lower lip between his teeth and sucked. “And that’s what you want to do, isn’t it? Please me?”

God, yes. That was what he needed to do.

“Yes, Sir.”

“Say it.” Gregory licked the seam between Landon’s parted lips.

“Please, may I serve you, Sir.”

That was what everything came down to. This undeniable need that boiled inside of Landon’s gut, and heart, and bones, toserve—to submit. Even before he and Gregory had put names to the things they did, Landon had known his place—where he felt most comfortable.

Things made sense when he was on his knees.

“You may.” Gregory pressed their mouths together and dipped his tongue into Landon’s mouth. Gregory kissed him,God, how Gregory kissed him. His tongue diving and exploring his mouth and licking against the backs of his teeth.

Landon moaned and angled his body closer to Gregory, wrapping his fingers around his hands and keeping them firm against his cheeks. Landon’s cock was hard; the tension of his pants kept it plastered to his thigh. It leaked against his briefs and pulsed in time with his heart.

When he pulled away for breath, their food was there. The waiter must have delivered it and slipped away while they were kissing. Landon was embarrassed at their display of affection, but also not.

“I love you,” he said against Gregory’s mouth.

“I know.” Gregory straightened Landon’s hair then separated their bodies. “Eat your dinner. It’s the last food you’re gonna get for a while.”

Landon picked up his knife and sliced into his steak, spearing a piece on his fork.

“So you won’t tell me what you’re going to do to me Thursday night?” Landon asked again, pressing for even the hint of an answer.

Gregory smirked at him. “No. But I’ll tell you this. By the time I’m done with you, the only cum left inside of you will be mine.”

Landon swallowed the bite he’d been chewing, then took a drink of his wine.

“Thank you, Sir.”
