Page 112 of Worth the Risk
“I’m Micah, and I don’t work,” Micah offered with a sly grin.
“Living the dream,” Jack said with a nod.
“Daddy?”
Callum’s voice from the back hallway sounded like a gunshot echoing through the space so loud that the silence which followed felt like it weighed more than a herd of elephants.
Jack’s face paled and his head snapped up, eyes searching for the voice. When his eyes focused on Callum, he opened his mouth to speak and closed it again, eyebrows drawing together, before widening. Then, his face split in two with a glittering smile.
“Kitten,” Jack breathed.
Callum gripped the edge of the bar to support himself, eyes locked on Jack, who took a tentative step forward. Callum’s knees wobbled and Jack was on him before he hit the floor, wrapping the young bartender in his arms and lifting him back up.
“Oh, it’s you,” Gregory breathed.
“What’s happening?” Verity asked, eyes darting from Callum and Jack to Gregory and back.
“Is there someplace private we can go?” Jack asked Landon over Callum’s quivering shoulder.
“There’s a room upstairs in the loft.” Landon pointed, his brows furrowed.
Jack nodded, walking a sniffling Callum through the club and up the stairs, disappearing with the lock of a door.
“What just happened?” Landon asked, still confused.
“I am pretty sure your friend is involved online with your bartender,” Gregory suggested. “Callum mentioned him briefly last weekend, but he didn’t use a name.”
“Well! It’s time to turn the lights off and open the doors.” Verity unscrewed the cap on a water bottle with a sigh.
“Are you sure you’re good to work tonight?” Landon asked them.
Verity winked. “I could have used Jack’s help, but you know me, I just keep going and going and going.”
“A proper little rabbit, you are,” Aaron said with a barely noticeable smirk.
Verity flicked their attention toward Aaron briefly and rolled their eyes, but Landon had known Verity long enough to recognize the way the lines around their mouth softened, and the barely noticeable twitch in their lip that happened when they were amused.
Gregory flipped the lights, casting Rapture into its trademark stained-glass glow, then gestured for Landon to follow him into the office.
“See you guys in a bit,” Landon made his apologies and stepped away from the bar, following Gregory into the office and closing the door behind him.
Gregory looked Landon up and down like he was undressing him with his eyes. He palmed himself through his pants and tipped his chin in Landon’s direction.
“I love you so fucking much,” Gregory told him, his eyes making their own, much dirtier promises.
“I love you, Sir.”
Landon’s heart threatened to explode. The need, the lust, and the love that poured out of Gregory was enough to almost overwhelm him.
What if this was truly a second chance?
What if this could be the rest of his life?
What if they were finally getting it right?
“Get on your knees,” Gregory grunted, pulling his zipper down to expose his hardening cock.
Landon lowered himself to his knees and licked his lips, eyes intent on Gregory’s dick. He was salivating with want.
“Crawl to me,” Gregory ordered.
Landon fell onto his hands and crawled towards Gregory, eyes locked on his prize, even as Gregory took a step backwards for every foot Landon crossed. Gregory only stopped when his back hit the wall and Landon reached him, lifting off his hands back onto his knees.
Gregory tapped his cock against Landon’s cheek and dragged it across his mouth, precum shining across his lips and mixing with Landon’s saliva.
“Now open up, boy, and show me how this club got its name.”
The end.
