I've seen the Sistine Chapel in all its glory, but still my favorite view in the whole wide world is that of Presley Kate James walking away. She's beautiful in every aspect, but her ass is my fucking favorite.

"Gunner, I’ve told you a thousand times that we can't keep denying her. She's ready."

He nods. "I just wanted more time. She deserves more than us."

I don’t disagree with that statement, but I roll my eyes all the same. "You wanted more time for what, Gunner? It’s time you accept yourself for who you are. We can't help that we're monsters, all we can do is not break our code of honor. That's the only thing that separates us from the others."

He slams his fist against the table. "She’s called my bluff. I'll kill anyone who tries to touch her, Kai, and we vowed to never hurt an innocent person."

I understand my brothers fears. Since we were little he’s always been more unhinged than I am. On the outside he's the perfect picture of calm, but on the inside he's a tightly wound monster one insult away from becoming nuclear.

He’s scared that he’ll wind up hurting her, not physically, but mentally. He doesn’t think she can handle what we are.

Relief washes over me that he’s finally agreed. I don’t want to kill an innocent person either, but I will kill any boyfriend that's not us. "When?"

"She deserves roses, dates, the whole nine yards. Let's wait until classes start back, and then we'll start slowly. For her nothing is off limits."

"Sounds like a plan." Taking out my phone, I start texting her. Maybe it makes me a pussy but I hate when she's mad at me.

"What Sierra Rose said, do you think it was just gibberish or should we be worried?" He asks.

"I didn't like it, but I haven't got a clue. What do you think?" I answer honestly.

When it comes to Presley Kate, I'm too overprotective, but I didn't like it either. “We need to watch Sierra more closely. Leave a note for the office manager to call me tomorrow. I want to know every visitor that comes through those doors."

"You got it, it's going to be so hard not to fuck her now that you've greed it's time Gunner." I sigh.

He laughs. "Keep your dick in your pants, Kai."

I roll my eyes. "Yes, daddy dearest."

"Is someone mad that she won't be calling him daddy? "

Yes. "Shit, I don't care what she calls me as long as she comes all over my cock soon."

He grunts, because he feels the same way. Waiting will be torture now, but I do agree, she deserves the world.

Wrapping up two tacos, I leave Gunner to his own devices, and make my way to the nurses station to find my sweet Princess.
