Page 75 of Wicked Bonds
She lost feeling in her hands from holding on to the headboard with such tight fists.
Her lungs ached from her erratic breathing.
Her throat protested each scream.
But her body reveled in Balthazar’s tongue, his touch, his hums of contentment as she came all over his face.
He didn’t stop and she didn’t ask him to, even when it hurt.
Because it also felt too damn good. Months. She’d gonemonthswithout this. Not because she’d felt the need to be faithful, but because no one else had really compared to what had happened in Brazil. She’d not wanted to waste her time. And she’d much preferred to watch him with others—the pleasure she’d given herself after that had been more than enough.
Yet his touch now told her that was a lie.
Because nothing could compare to Balthazar’s brand of hedonism.
Having him inside her mind now made it that much more powerful.
He could hear her approval, knew exactly what she wanted, and introduced her to things she hadn’t even realized she desired.
Hours passed.
Orgasms continued.
His tongue and mouth were everywhere again. He didn’t let a single inch of her go untouched. It was the perfect variability of rapture and reverence.
Proving B’s superiority in the bedroom.
At least in comparison to others.
But next time, it would be her turn to blow his mind.
“I look forward to it,” he whispered in her ear as he pulled her against him.
She’d started to doze, her body exhausted from the onslaught of his mouth.
He held her, coaxing her into a dream.
Or maybe it was a reality.
With Balthazar, it was hard to say. Because he was her ultimate fantasy.
A cherished secret.
A life she could truly enjoy.
A future… that was never meant to be hers.
Chapter14
Issac
“She’s goingto figure out how to take his sword soon,” Sethios said as he materialized on the beach beside Issac. “And I, for one, cannot wait to see what she does to him with it.”
“Hmm,” Issac hummed in agreement, very much looking forward to that as well.
Gabriel had been tormenting Aya all night. First with his method of teaching wards—something he’d taken over from Caro since he was more advanced at protective markings—and now with his sparring methods in the sky.
While it certainly worked, it also infuriated Aya to the point where her mind appeared to be solely focused on one task: maiming her older brother.
