REALM: CELESTAE

In the beginning of time, there was only the god, Siorai.

A fter eons alone, Siorai grew restless.

He desired to have companions with whom he could share his knowledge and power.

So, Siorai created the four kingdoms of Celestae.

Each kingdom was given a special portion of Siorai’s abilities to wield as their own.

THE KINGDOMS OF CELESTAE:

MALVORIA: THE KINGDOM OF LIGHT AND VITALITY

Blessed by the god, Siorai, with one thousand years of life. However, physical signs of aging cease at twenty-five years of life.

SIGNET TATTOO: A burning flame

SIGNET SHADE: Red

ABILITIES: Fire, Mind-warping, Emotions, Healing, Growth/Vegetation, and Starlight (the rarest ability)

UNIQUE FACT: Because the Malvorian ruler didn’t come before Siorai requesting more power, the god promised that through the ruler’s line would come the Na Fíréin, the chosen one to bring peace back to all the kingdoms.

ZULGALROS: THE KINGDOM OF THE SHADOWS

SIGNET TATTOO: The head of a horse

SIGNET SHADE: Black

ABILITIES: Control over Nightmare-like Creatures, Shadow Manipulation, Shape-shifting, and Conjuring Shadow Horses

UNIQUE FACT: The Galrosans are known for their glowing amber eyes, which allow them to see well in the dark.

brIEZIUS: THE KINGDOM OF THE WINDS AND TIDES

SIGNET TATTOO: A trident

SIGNET COLOR: Blue

ABILITIES: Water Manipulation/Weaving, Weather Manipulation, Conversing with Aquatic Creatures, Prophecy, and Telepathy

UNIQUE FACT: The Briezians’ appearance is constructed of shades of teal, lavender, blush pink, and moss green.

ABEAUTROX: THE KINGDOM OF THE MOUNTAIN HAVEN

SIGNET TATTOO: A mountain

SIGNET COLOR: Brown

ABILITIES: Ground Manipulation, Brute Strength and Size.

UNIQUE FACT: The Troxans are brutal and often enslave wandering travelers in order to keep up gem production from their mines.

SIGNETS/ ABILITIES EXPLAINED:

Those from the royal bloodlines, in any kingdom, are able to wield two abilities within their kingdom’s respective signet. However, those born without noble blood only harness one ability within their kingdom’s respective signet.

If one’s heritage is a mixture of any two kingdoms, whichever signet calls to them first is the one that they’ll wield.

Signet marks manifest around nine to eleven years of age. As well as, one is given access to half of the strength of such abilities.

Once they’ve reached the age when physical aging ceases, they’re given full access to their ability(ies).

Physical Signs of Aging ends at twenty-five years of life, therefore giving the creations of Siorai the appearance of immortality.

CREATURES/ BEINGS:

BASILISK:

Enormous, poisonous fanged serpent that resides in the Abyss as the messenger for the Father of the Abyss

DOMHNALL/THE SCYTHE:

A soulless creature, often donning a black cloak, with blood-red eyes, decaying flesh, and skeletal features. He’s the right-hand advisor for the king of Zulgalros, and can materialize from thin air.

DRAKHUL:

A sentient, malevolent mist created by King Tiernan to corrupt and destroy the kingdoms it invades.

EITCHAM:

The guardian of the Malvorian woods. A towering creature with black eyes, bony flesh, and long, gangly limbs, as well as a mouth full of sharp fangs that extends from the base of one ear to the other. Its skeletal torso is supported by its limbs, as it stalks on all fours.

ELVES:

Small beings with tall-pointed ears that often live in hovels within the woods, acting as hospitality for those traveling through.

FAUNS:

A part male/female and part goat hybrid, often with hooved feet, accompanied by short horns protruding from its head.

GRINDYLOWS:

Minions to the Kelpies, luring in unsuspecting travelers into the waters with their melodic song that often enhances their appearances. The creatures have cold, slimy skin, gills along their necks, as well as beady eyes.

KELPIES:

Carnivorous water horses that dominate the Bones River.

MINOTAURS:

A creature with the head and legs of a bull, but the torso of a man. They freely roam the Malvorian woods with their respective clans.

ORCS:

A towering beast with long arms, bowlegs, and lower canines that resemble tusks. Their skin ranges from green to gray tints.

POOKAS:

The carnivorous cousins of the elves with elongated heads, tall, pointed feline-like ears, wart noses, and horrendous breath. Pookas are ingenious mathematicians, but often lack in areas of language and rational sense.

SHADOW HORSES:

A conjured horse with double the strength, size, and speed of a typical horse specimen. These horses are unique only to Galrosans, as it comes from their signet tattoo.
