I shake my head and run my nails down his thighs, bulging against his slacks. Then, I rub my fingers along his clothed cock again, feeling it twitch under my hand. His chest heaves and he’s getting ready to snap my neck if I don’t do something about the situation in his pants immediately.
I flutter my lashes and smile at him. He whimpers and laughs at the same time. “That look means trouble.”
“No,” I say. “It means I’m in charge.”
And then I lick along the length of him, still clothed.
He lets out a guttural, ferocious grunt, and trembles beneath my tongue. He looks down at me, bright red and completely embarrassed.
Because I made him cum in his pants.
CHAPTER 42
THE SILENCER
Elena and I sneak back into the reception hall after our rendezvous in the groom’s suite. She’s so fucking proud of herself and I’m over here feeling like a damn teenager that just saw a pair of tits for the first time. My boxers are sticky with my cum, despite my attempts to clean up in the bathroom as Elena fixed her smeared makeup.
It was embarrassing and erotic all at the same time. She was in a submissive position, yet completely turned the tables on me and stole the control right out from under me.
That’s my good fucking girl.
I have the unfortunate luck of making eye contact with Elliot as soon as we walk into the reception hall, to which he frowns at me. His gaze burns into me like he somehow knows I just defiled his daughter. Or rather, she defiled me.
I take a deep breath and lean over to whisper in Elena’s ear. “I’m going to go talk to your father.”
I kiss her cheek. She gives me a squeeze on the bicep of encouragement and snags a couple of glasses of champagne, bringing one to her mother and dragging her to the dance floor.
Elliot notices me approaching him and goes to the bar for another drink. I stand at his side while the bartender hands him one of the ‘His & His’ drinks, Justin’s version. An old fashioned. Good taste.
“Elliot?”
His eyes flicker to me, but he doesn’t respond. “Look, you’ve got to stop acting like I’m your enemy. If I can keep the past in the past, you sure as hell can too. If not for me, for Elena.”
He turns to face me and then abruptly throws the drink in his glass directly into my face. The small crowd around us gasps.
“Get out of my face,” he sneers.
I take a deep, angry breath and rub the alcohol off my face. If we weren’t in the middle of a crowded reception hall, I’d knock him on his ass right now. I bump shoulders with him, hard, as I walk around him and towards the bathroom. Elena is right on my heels and follows me inside, locking the door behind us.
“Christian…”
I ball up my fists and lean over the counter, gritting my teeth and conjuring up every ounce of self-control I have so that I don’t bust down this bathroom door and break Elliot’s nose.
“I’m fine,” I lie through gritted teeth. I feel Elena gently rub down my back, because sheknowsI’m lying to her. And myself.
I’m not used to tolerating this kind of disrespect. If he was anyone else but her father, I would have had him laid out on the floor, maybe even with a bullet in his head.
He did it because he knew I couldn’t do anything about it. He knew he would get away with it with nothing more than some disappointed looks from his family.
“Do you want to leave?”
I turn around and face her and lean against the counter as she takes a napkin to wipe up some of the amber liquid from the front of my suit. At least I’m wearing black, so it’s not super noticeable. “No. We don’t have to leave. It’s fine.” I give her a half-hearted chuckle. “Come on, let's go back. I don’t want to make a scene.”
“If it makes you feel better, my mother never shuts up about you. This morning I went to say hi, and the first thing she did was ask where you were. She really likes you.”
I nod. “I’ll ask her for a dance.”
We leave the bathroom and I go straight to Bethany with a charming smile and my hand outstretched towards her. “May I?” Bethany nods and gleefully takes my hand. Every time Elliot and I make eye contact, we scowl at each other.
