"Oh, aren't you just a happy girl?" Millie chuckled, rubbing her nose against Elora's sweet button one.

Elora giggled, clapping her chubby hands together, her eyes lighting up at the sound of her mother's playful voice. She squealed as Millie squeezed her cheek slightly.

I beamed, watching them play. "You like that?" Millie cooed, doing it again, which caused Elora to let out another loud, happy baby squeal.

Elijah lay beside us, his thumb in his mouth. My wolf purred at the sight of him surrounded by the nest he made in his mate's garden.

He was persistent about keeping it beautiful and upkept for his family. It has even gotten some upgrades in recent months.

The once wild rose garden was now tamed through care and coordination.

Millie leaned back on my chest, taking a deep breath as she held Elora. Elora quickly latched onto Millie, sucking until her eyes fell heavy.

I leaned forward, planting a kiss on the top of Millie's head. "The pups sure are growing fast."

"Yeah, they are," Millie said softly, admiring Elora. "I just wish they would slow down a bit. I want to savor every moment of this baby stage."

I chuckled. "Me too, mate. I have to say- "

"We do make some gorgeous pups. No wonder the goddess paired us." I stroked Millie's hair, evoking a purr from her chest.

"I don't think she paired us just for that reason. Although that seems to be all you can think about these days." Millie joked.

I bit my lip. "Well, how could I not? Those close calls had me hopeful."

"A little too close," Millie chuckled, looking down at Elora. "I think we should start using some sort of, I don't know, contraception?"

A growl crept up my chest, making Millie roll her eyes. "I'm serious, Theo."

"If it happens, it happens," I leaned down, gently nibbling Millie's ear. "I'm ready for another baby."

Elora pulled away, crying slightly to signal she was done eating. Millie pulled her close and patted her back. "I know you are," she sighed. "Maybe in the future we can. But, right now, I'm soaking up all the time I missed with these two."

Once Elora burped, I took her, placing her sweetly in the bed of roses next to her sleeping brother. "The twins have missed you too much, my beloved. I have, too."

Millie shifted, lifting her head to face mine. Her eyes were calm and peaceful, soft and chocolate. The kind that could make a man melt.

"I will spend my whole life making my mistakes up to you, my rose," I pleaded, bringing our faces close. "Anything you wish, it's my command."

Millie smiled as our lips connected sweetly, a wave of joyful sparks ringing throughout our bodies.

"Luna! There you are!" Levi ran out of the house, flailing a piece of paper in his hands. June came out behind him, trying to stop him from running into our private moment.

"I'm so sorry!" June shook her head in defeat as Levi ran excitedly towards us. "I told him no, but he couldn't wait!"

The elder committee decided that Levi didn't have ties to Lunar. He was practically a rogue born pup, sheltered from the ways of pack life. Boris and I pondered for weeks on what to do with him, until-

"I'm his Luna," Millie broke through our heated conversation. "He belongs here, with us. If I'm alive, he will always be welcome here. You even heard him, mate, Boris. He called me his Luna before even knowing my name. He knew."

Boris and I stiffened. "Millie, are you sure? I mean, he is Ember and Orion's child."

"He should not suffer because of the actions of his parents," Millie put her foot down. "He is unaware of their wrongdoings. He should not be punished. He is just a child, an orphaned one at that; he deserves a chance at life and love."

We understood. "Levi will become a part of the pack."

And, he did.

Millie had taken him under her wing, taking care of him on top of Elijah and Elora. The first few weeks, he slept in bed with us, or with Boris and Nova.

It wasn't until June had become close to him that she and Michael decided to adopt him. "We never had children," June smiled hopefully. "But, we have always wanted one to call our own. We can teach him about his heritage."

It was the perfect match.

"Luna!" Levi jumped into Millie's lap, proudly holding up his picture. "Look what I made!"

Millie smiled, pulling Levi to her chest to look at it together. "Wow, that's really nice, buddy," she cooed. "Who is in this picture?"

"That's you," Levi pointed to a stick figure with long, black hair. "And, Alpha, and -Lijah, Lora. And, this one is June and Michael."

Millie played with his hair. "You are such an artist, Levi!"

"I'm glad you like it, -Una." Levi smiled, one of his front teeth missing, making him look goofy. "I drew it just for you!"

"I'm guessing the tall and handsome one is me, huh?" I smirked, pointing at the tall, stick figure standing next to Millie's character.

"Yes!" Levi stood, jumping. "I drew you next to me, because you were almost my daddy!"

Millie and I choked. "How did you? Who told- "

"That was supposed to be a secret, dude!" Boris called from the house. "A secret. Where you don't tell anyone, remember?"

I sighed. "Of course, Boris told you."

"Oh," Nova drew out her words, walking out behind him. "Another secret, huh, mate?"

We all lifted our heads in confusion. Nova growled, making Boris put his hands up in surrender. "Nova, baby, I swear, it's not a secret, I just didn't get around to telling you yet!"

Nova rubbed her tummy. "Yeah, well, that seems like some important information that I should know!"

"Look, baby," Boris took Nova's hand and kissed it, before she quickly swatted him away. "I'm sorry. You know the circumstances of our first meeting, and then everything that happened, I just didn't think it was the right time to tell you about my past."

Nova stepped away from him, making Boris' wolf whine at their distance. "I'm sure you knew about this too, Theo- "Nova shot him a glance. "It is your beach house."

Millie shot a confused look at me, before it clicked. "Shi-"

"Hey Levi," I pat his shoulder, making him beam. "Ingrid said she was making your favorite lunch today. I think it should be about ready now."

Levi's eyes lit up. "Chicken nuggies?"

"Yes," I nodded, urging him back towards the house. "You better go get some before they are all gone."

Levi nodded happily. He walked over to the nest Elijah and Elora were cuddled up in, before placing his hand gently on Elora's cheek.

Their contact caused his face to light up. "Okay, bye-bye -Lora."

Millie furrowed her brows and looked at me, also seeming confused at Levi's actions.

"Millie, you knew something about this?" Nova questioned, as we all shook off that weird interaction.

Boris sighed, reaching out to caress his mate's arms. "Honey, Millie had nothing to do with this. Okay? This is all my fault. It was just a huge mistake. I should have waited for you, but- "

Nova crossed her arms, raising her brow. "But what?"

"I was young, and I was mateless, until now- "Boris pleaded with Nova. "I was old to find my mate. I swear none of those girls meant anything to me. They were just quick flings."

"I was stupid and horny," Boris breathed. "It was dumb. I wouldn't have done it if I knew it would hurt you so much."

Nova took a deep breath. "Girls?" Her eyes widened. "How many are we talking?"

Boris ran his hands down his face. "I don't think you really want to know that, dear. Let's just leave it at a few?"

"You had sex with a few?" Nova scoffed. "Sounds more like a lot. I'm sure you were going there with each one multiple times, too!"

Boris paled. "Mate, please calm down- "

"Calm down?" Nova put a hand on her tummy.

"I swear I never had any feelings for any of them," Boris stroked her arm sweetly. "That means nothing to me now, it was before I became a Beta, a mate, and now-"

Nova stopped him. "I need some time to think about this," she pushed him away. "I'm tired and starving."

"Mate, come on- "Boris pleaded before Nova shut the door in his face.

Boris dragged his hands through his hair before turning to us. "Sorry."

Millie kissed Elijah and Elora before standing up and brushing off her dress. "I'll talk to her." Millie cupped my cheek before leaning in for a kiss on the lips.

Millie walked away, her blue dress dancing in the wind, her hair free and wild. She smelled like heaven.

Boris slumped down on the tree across from me. "Fuck."

"Well, at least it's out in the open now," I said to comfort Boris. "She was going to find out eventually."

"I know," Boris looked back longingly at the house. "She won't stay mad at me for long, but it still hurts. Especially with the baby on the way."

I nodded, smiling at my friend while admiring my own babies. "Do you know the gender yet?"

Boris lit up. "It's a girl."

"Congratulations, man!" I punched his shoulder lightly. "You and Nova didn't wait long."

Boris chuckled. "It was more of an accident. But, a really, really good one." He said. "I'm so thrilled to be a dad. I can barely wait."

"Elijah and Elora will be happy to have a buddy," I caressed Elijah's peaceful face. "You will be a great father, Boris."

"Nova wants a lot of babies," he daydreamed, his wolf evident. "I do too. At least five or six."

I laughed. "You better get busy then."

A few months later, Nova gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.

"You are doing great, sweetie," Boris leaned over, kissing his mate's sweaty head.

Nova screamed, another contraction taking over her body. She squeezed Millie's hand, closing her eyes as she worked through the pain.

"Oh, fuck!" Nova threw her head back. "Is she almost out?"

Millie looked at Doctor Rowan. "She's crowning. She should be born in a few more pushes."

"Ugh!" Nova screamed. "I don't know how you fucking did this with two babies, Mills. I would die!"

Boris and Millie held Nova's hands as she continued to push. The whole room went silent as a loud wail filled the room, making all our hearts full.

Boris cried when he saw his baby girl for the first time.

Nova and Boris kissed sweetly as they held their baby girl between them, Boris joining Nova on the bed.

The rest of the day, my parents, Aspen and Axel, Ingrid, Michael and June, Levi, and Boris' family came to visit. All eager to get a glimpse at the newest edition.

"I never thought I would see the day Boris would become a dad," Aspen laughed, bouncing Elijah in her lap. "But, here we are!"

Axel's face glowed. "One day this will be us."

"She's gorgeous," June beamed, sitting beside Millie as she watched the baby. "We are so proud of you two girls."

Nova and Millie teared up at June's sentiment. "We love you, June, Michael."

"Yeah, yeah- "Michael swatted his hand. "Don't make me cry now. Millie, your father would never let that down if he saw a tear coming from my eye."

Everyone laughed. "That's true," June pointed with her eyebrow raised. "You were his best warrior. He always knew if something happened to him, you would be there to protect his beloved pack."

Nova and Millie exchanged looks. "Hey, whatever happened to Dad's Camaro?"

Michael pondered. "Should still be on Rose lands. It got pretty bent up from Beta's wolf, but I'm sure we can get it fixed right up, kiddos."

"A Camaro?" Levi awed. "I love cars!"

"Sounds like a good project then," June nodded. "I'm sure you both will make it as good as new."

Kate leaned forward to look closer at the baby in Nova's arms. "What are you going to name this sweet little princess?"

Everyone went silent, excited to hear the announcement.

Nova and Boris stared lovingly into each other's eyes before turning to look at Millie. "We didn't need a lot of time to decide."

I kissed the top of Millie's head. "Oh?"

"We decided to name her after you, Mills." Nova teared up, reaching her weak hand to hold Millie's.

"Her name is Rose," Boris announced proudly. "Rose Darkmoon."

It is always so bittersweet when I finish a book and say goodbye to characters. I did get a lot of interest in a Boris prequel, so I will eventually be starting that as well.
