CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

DRAKE

V irgin ears here.

She was still a virgin.

A goddamn virgin

Which meant she’d never been touched. No, she could have been touched but never penetrated.

Penetrated. What a weird word.

Any-fucking-way, what was I supposed to do with that knowledge? To know no one else had been inside my little birdy was a damn rush to my head. Hell, both heads.

No one had slipped their cock into her tight, wet pussy.

I damn prayed, hoped, I would be her first and last. All she’d need was me. I’d treat her right. Make sure she knew she was special right from the start.

I’d have her dripping wet even before I thought about putting my cock inside her sweet little cunt.

Fucking hell.

Jesus Christ.

Fuck me up the arse and call me Daddy.

I had to stop thinking about it. If she looked over as I drove her to work and saw how damn hard I was, she’d think I was a weirdo who got excited over the damn cars around us or something.

But the problem was that I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Her.

If my desire for Swan was bad before, it was worse now.

Usually, I’d have to tug one out after thinking about her. If I saw her in person, I’d have my hand wrapped around my dick a couple of times.

I’d jerked off three times last night and once this morning as we showered together. It wasn’t in the same room, obviously. She was in her bathroom, and I was in mine at the same time. At least that was what I liked to think.

But then I’d imagined her coming into mine to join me under the spray of water.

Fuck.

Stop, you fucking perv.

Yet I found my gaze wandering down to her legs. She was dressed as a naughty librarian in her pencil skirt and blouse with goddamn high heels. Her calves were to die for. Hell, all of her was.

Maybe us being together like this was a bad idea. I hadn’t been around her for long periods of time, and I didn’t know how hard—pun intended—it’d be to keep from dropping to my knees and begging for her to take a chance on me to make her happy.

While I was down there on my knees, I’d also like to lift up her skirt slowly and?—

“Drake, are you okay?” she asked softly.

Clearing my throat, I nodded. “Yeah, why?”

Was I hard? Had she seen my dick?

Fuck.

“I’m worried for my steering wheel.”

I glanced at my hands and saw how white my knuckles were. Christ. I had to get a grip of the arousal coursing through me. “Ha, yeah, sorry. Just thinkin’.”

Thinking that if I don’t keep strangling the wheel, I’ll give in and touch you in a way that’ll give my thoughts away.

“Anything I can help with?”

I clenched my jaw, so I didn’t damn groan.

“I’m good, Birdy. Thanks.”

I’d never been more thrilled to see a library car park. Sighing, I pulled in and took a spot close to the door. It was early enough that there weren’t many cars or people around.

“Want me to walk you in?”

She glared at me. “Don’t you dare.” She opened her door and climbed out. “Take care of my car.”

“You know I will.”

She leaned over, smiling. “I do. See you at five.”

“Call me if you need anythin’, yeah?”

She’d already started to shut the door but quickly pulled it open again. “Thanks, I will. Have a great day inking everyone.”

Chuckling, I asked, “Why does that sound dirty?”

She blushed. “Only in your mind.” She closed the door again, and I watched her walk her way inside with that sweet sway to her curvy hips and on those damn sexy heels.

Groaning, I rested my forehead to the top of the wheel. This was going to be the longest week of my life. “Fuckin’ idiot.” I drove out of there cursing myself some more. I had to calm the hell down.

At the compound, I stuck my head out the window and waved at the camera. The gates opened even before Handle could come over.

Driving through, I called out the window, “Hey, brother.”

Handle tipped his chin up with a smile and went back to his post.

After I parked, I got out of Swan’s car and headed into the compound with my bag of supplies over my shoulder. I swung the keys around on my fingers as I greeted brothers on the way to the kitchen.

I had one big job and two smaller ones today, and I’d need coffee for them.

Pushing through the door, I said, “Mornin’.”

Dodge grinned. “Dragon, good to have you here, brother.”

Low, his old lady, walked up to me for a hug. “You’re looking damn fine like your daddy.”

“Low,” Dodge warned.

She rolled her eyes and patted my cheek. “But you’re nowhere near as hot as my old man.”

“Damn right,” Dodge clipped.

When the door opened behind me, I turned to see Dive.

“Hey, brother. I’m ready when you are.” Dive was getting a backpiece of his son’s name, Koda.

“Just grabbing a cup and gonna go set up. Nurse still good for me to use his med room?”

“Yep.”

The door opened again and in swept Rommy. In a blink, I had her arms wrapped around me in a tight hug.

“Dragon, hey, hello. It’s so cool you’re here to do some tattooing. I want one. Can you fit me in?” She shifted back to look up at me with hope and excitement in her gaze.

“Rom,” Dodge said. “What would you even get? It’s gotta be something you’ll love for the rest of your life.”

She snorted. “Are you telling me that you love all your tats, Dad?”

Dodge wasn’t her actual father. He was her and Texas’s uncle. His sister died, and he took them in when they were young. Rommy had refused one day to call him Uncle Trey anymore. She switched it to Dad, and for Low, Mum.

They’d taken care of both of them like they were their kids anyway. Never had one of their own.

Low cackled. “She’s got you there.”

“At least think about it longer than a moment, Rommy,” Dodge countered.

“Okay, I’ll ask him again tomorrow.”

Dodge groaned. “How about you get your butt to work. Those cars won’t fix on their own.”

“I’m going. Oh, Dragon, I’ll text Swan, but in case I forget, which happens sometimes, can you tell her that Friday night we’re going to a club for some dancing and fun?”

Shit. I didn’t like the sound of that. Something could happen to Swan like it did at the shopping centre.

“Not sure that’s a good idea, Rommy.”

She grinned. “It’s okay. It’s a place Wolf owns, and he has his own area where no one can bother us. She’ll be safe, and you’ll be there as well as Ruin and Wolf and all Wolf’s guards.”

“You’ve already asked Ruin and Wolf?” Low questioned.

She nodded. “I rang him when the idea popped into my head while I was in the gym this morning.”

Dodge chuckled. “Rommy, what have we told you about waitin’ until a decent hour to call anyone about ideas that suddenly happen?”

“I waited until six,” she said. “I didn’t ring him at five when I thought of it.”

Smirking, I shook my head and helped myself to a coffee while Dodge told Rommy to wait until at least eight in the morning before calling anyone. Unless it was an emergency.

If anyone new met Rommy, they always thought she was younger than her twenty-three years. She just held this carefree innocence about her that everyone warmed to.

“Dive, I’ll set up and see you in ten,” I called on my way out the door.

“Wait, Dragon,” Rommy said. “Friday?”

“I’ll see and let you know,” I told her. I wanted to check with Swan first to actually see if she was into heading to a club.

“Okay.”

I headed out to Nurse’s room expecting to see him within it, but the area was empty. He knew I would be there, so I presumed he wouldn’t be upset with me setting up.

As I prepared the station, organising the inks and needles, my mind drifted to Swan once again. I’d love to see her at a club, swaying those hips as she danced. But her comfort was more important than any of my wants and needs.

Loud footsteps approached, and Dive walked in, saying, “Let’s get this show on the road.” He removed his cut and hung it over the office chair before taking off his tee.

I nodded, giving him smile. “Take a seat on the bed.”

Dive settled onto the table, and I cleaned and shaved the area. “You need one last look at the stencil I worked up?”

“Nah, brother. Loved it the first time. Just stick it on there.”

By the time my needle buzzed to life, Dive had closed his eyes and relaxed his body. The first touch of ink to skin was always the most intense for some people, but the brother didn’t even flinch.

During the session, Dive asked about how things were going in Ballarat. The Caroline Springs chapter was the closest one to our Ballarat brotherhood. Not only in distance, but in the bond we had with the men here. Hell, I’d even admit I sometimes missed the brothers when in Ballarat. But Dad had always said he knew things were well in hand with Dodge as president here.

A couple of hours passed before I told him, “Done.”

Dive jumped down from the table, and I passed him a handheld mirror before he went to look in the full-length mirror that hung from the back of the door.

“Holy fuck. Thanks, Dragon. Means a lot,” Dive said, eyeing the work.

“No prob, brother. It’s an honour to be a part of this,” I replied.
