I had to leave practice early. I can’t put myself in a risky place anymore. It’s too close to the end of the school year. Too close to Jersey graduating.

One more wrestling match, the big year end championship. I’ll be there as his coach, nothing more. When he wins, and I know he will, there will be a celebration for the team. A lot of people will be around to keep us from being alone.

A couple of months later, he graduates. When that’s over, and he’s officially out of college, we can date if we want to. We can do whatever because he won’t be a student athlete at CBA, and I won’t be his advisor or trainer.

All the walls and lines will be gone.

I hope he understands. I do want him. I want him like kids want cake.
