Page 49 of Sinners’ Appetite
I feel as though I may have taken this too far. I had only planned to cut each one of Paul’s fingers off one by one, but when I discovered the bolt cutters and held them in my hands, my thought process took a morbid turn.
Either way, morbid or not, he deserves this.
“You might want to turn around for this part,” I warn Jeremy.
“You read my mind, man,” he says, walking off into the kitchen area after handing me the bolt cutters.
I rip the material out of his mouth and toss it to the floor. “Any last words, motherfucker?”
“P-please, don’t do this…” Paul whimpers as pathetic tears run down his cheeks.
“It’s a little too late for that.” I grin. “Ever heard of the saying ‘you reap what you sow’?”
He nods. “Uh-huh. I’ll do anything, please… just don’t…”
“It won’t take long, Paul.”
I line the tool up to his cock, wondering whether I’ll have to cut twice or not. I can only imagine the bloody disaster that’ll follow as soon as I clip the skin.
Which leads me to my next gruesome idea.
“Hey, Jeremy! Is there a jar in there somewhere?” I call out.
A few moments later, Jeremy appears again, holding a tiny jam jar. “Like this?” He asks.
“Fuck yeah, that’s perfect. Bring it to me.” I dismiss him again once the jar is in my hand.
Paul makes one last attempt to escape his fate but after a few second of flailing around, he lets out a loud defeated groan and bows his head.
“Relax, Paul. I’ll put you out of your misery soon enough,” I smirk. “Though—I really wish I could drag it out more. You know… make you suffer for the unspeakable things you’ve done.”
“It w-wasn’t only me,” he replies.
I roll my eyes and shake my head. “But it was you that chose to fuck with our girls.”
Before I become too irked with his desperate pleas, I open the bolt cutters as wide as they’ll go and reach for his flaccid cock, holding it still between the blades.
“Please! Fuck!”
“Oh hush…” I sneer.
Before he can say another word, I push the handles together, cringing a little when I feel the crunch against my hands.
His scream pierces my ears as his member falls to the floor beneath him.
Blood starts to jet out in steady crimson ribbons in all directions.
I then grab the little jar and remove the lid, bringing it to where his blood is still spurting out.
Once it’s nearly full, I place the lid back on and secure it tightly, sliding it off to the side to grab once we’re done.
Of course, Paul has passed out again.
I need him awake for the next part, but I feel like it’s going to take a little effort this time to bring him back around.
Reaching down to the floor, I grab his severed penis and lift his head, opening his mouth with my fingers before placing the bloodied chunk of meat between his lips. The very second it hits the back of his throat, he wakes up and starts to choke.
“Doesn’t feel so good, does it, Paul?” I chuckle, holding my hand flat over his mouth to make sure he doesn’t manage to push anything out.
Not even a minute later, he stops gagging and his body goes limp. I place two fingers against his neck to feel for a pulse and smile to myself when I don’t feel one.
“Good fucking riddance…” I whisper, kicking the chair so he goes flying backwards onto the floor.
Jeremy appears in the doorway again, covering his mouth with his hand. His eyes widen as he focuses in on Paul. “Gross. I can’t believe you actually did that,” he says, nearly gagging.
“You’d be surprised by what I’m capable of.” I laugh, grabbing the jar off the floor.
“So, what do we do about the girl?” he asks.
“We’ll take her to the hospital. They’ll have questions, but we’ll tell them that we found her somewhere.”
He nods and we walk toward the room where she’s still huddled up in the corner.
“You’re safe now. We’re going to get you some help. We just need you to keep quiet about everything.”
She raises her head, focusing on my face long enough to make me feel uncomfortable. Finally, she opens her mouth to speak.
“Where are you going to take me?” she asks with tears streaming down her face.
“I think you should see a doctor—what’s your name, Miss?”
“Natalie,” she whimpers.
“That’s such a pretty name,” I say. “I’m sorry about all of this.”
“Please don’t take me to the hospital. I barely have a cent to my name.”
“Where do you want us to take you?”
She lets out a heavy sigh. “My house. I live there with my parents.”
“How old are you, Natalie?” I ask.
“Eighteen.”
I hear Jeremy let out a laborious groan behind us. “For fuck’s sake. She’s just a baby.”
“We should get going. Can you walk?” I ask her.
“I can walk,” she quietly replies as I reach my hand out to her.
Once she’s up, we guide her out of the room, positioning ourselves so that she can’t see the gory scene in the living room. Before long, we’re back at my car and she gives us directions to her house.
When we pull into her driveway, she thanks us and hops out, waving us off as we back up and take off down the street.
“What business do they have with these young girls?” Jeremy asks, his facial expression displaying his disgust.
“They’re easier to groom, Jer.”
He just shakes his head, looking out the window. “That’s fucking sick.”
Once we make it back to the motel, we settle in for the night after we each hop through the shower to wash off any evidence, planning to make it back to the girls early in the morning.
If I wasn’t so tired already, I’d drive back tonight.
I need my baby girl.
“Rise and shine, Sir. Let’s get on the road!” I nudge Jeremy awake, poking into his sides with my fingers.
“You’re a really shitty alarm clock. What time is it?” he asks, sitting up slowly.
“It’s six.”
“Fuck. Good thing you’re driving…” He smiles, rubbing his eyes.
It takes a matter of minutes to pack everything back up and load it all into the car. We then hop in after leaving our key cards at the front desk.
“Did you text Sammi to let her know that we’re on our way back?” I ask Jeremy as we back up and head toward the city.
“I told her we would be back today… So why are we going into the city?” he asks.
“I have a stop to make,” I smirk.
I don’t know whether I’ll find what I’m looking for, but it’s worth a try.
“For…?”
“You’ll see. It’s a surprise for our girls.”
“Does this have something to do with the blood you collected?” he chuckles.
“Maybe…”
“I’m gonna trust you on this one.”
“I’m positive that they’ll appreciate it.
Not even two minutes later, I park out front of a jewelry store and we make ourselves way inside.
The last time I was in one of these stores, it was to purchase Amber’s ring. Two thousand dollars later, I walked out with the most beautiful princess cut engagement ring, and it fit her perfectly. I made sure that it was on her finger when she was laid to rest.
“What can I do for you, gentlemen?” the tall, lanky salesman asks from behind the glass counter.
“I’m looking for something in particular… Do you have any necklaces that might hold liquid?” I ask, scanning the section of necklaces to my right.
“Actually, I do. Give me one second.” The man slips into the back of the store while his female co-worker keeps her eyes fixed on us.
When he comes back out, he’s holding two square shaped velvet boxes. “These might work. We’ve had them for a while now.”
He sets them down on the counter and opens one case, tilting it toward me so I can see the contents. Inside is a silver chained necklace with a tiny vial in the middle, shaped much like the bottles that people put messages into and toss into the ocean.
“Those will work. I’ll take them both,” I say, pulling my wallet out of my pants pocket.
“Let’s get you rung up here. Can I have a name for the purchase, please?” he says, sliding the boxes over to his co-worker so she can place them into a fancy gift bag.
“Malachi White,” I reply.
“That’ll be two-hundred and sixty seven dollars, Sir.”
“For two necklaces?” Jeremy asks in utter disbelief.
“Yes,” the man replies.
“It’s fine, Jeremy. Our girls are worth it…”
“I agree, but Jesus, that’s over a hundred dollars per necklace.”
I shake my head and tap my credit card on the machine. When the purchase goes through, the man hands me the bag along with the receipt and we make our way out of the store.
I can’t wait to see the look on their faces when they see these necklaces.
