Page 45 of Sinners’ Appetite
“I’m going to head down to the cabins to wake Jeremy up,” I announce before heading out the door.
As I get closer to Sammi and Jeremy’s door, I hear the distinct sound of moaning, followed by the rhythmic thud of a bed against a wall.
I’d be lying if I said it didn’t make me hard all over again. I’ve watched those two fuck and I’d definitely do it again.
As soon as I hear Sammi holler out, ‘I’m gonna come’, I bang on the door and yell out, “FINISH HER!” as loud as I can.
Nothing but laughter follows and I hear footsteps nearing the door. When Jeremy opens the door, he’s completely naked, his rock hard cock greeting me first.
“Wake up call!” I chuckle.
“Oh—we’ve been up for a while…” he smirks.
“Okay, well—we have to head out soon. If we’re lucky, we’ll catch him tonight.”
“I sure hope so!” Sammi calls out in the background.
“I have a feeling we will. I really don’t want to drag this on for much longer.”
I turn and head into our cabin to grab the bag I had packed and make my way to the car to load it into the trunk.
I wish I didn’t have to do this at all. Leaving Nikki here just doesn’t feel right.
Regardless, Paul has to die. There’s no way around this.
Police reports don’t do shit. It’s just paperwork after paperwork and half of the time, they turn the tables on victims, making them feel like they asked for it somehow.
It’s disgusting, honestly.
I’ve done this before. The circumstances were entirely different, but the outcome will be all the same. Lucky for Paul, I can’t take the time to torture him. It has to be quick and painful.
“Please tell me you’re not leaving right now…” I hear Nikki sigh behind me just before she wraps her arms around my waist.
I turn to face her, taking her beautiful face between my hands. “If we leave now, we might be able to get back sooner. I don’t want to be away from you any longer than I have to, baby girl.”
“Just be careful…”
I chuckle lightly before placing a gentle kiss on her rosy red lips. “I promise, I’ll bring us both back in one piece.”
Turning back around, I grab a velvet pouch from inside my suitcase and hold it up to Nikki. “Plus…I’m assuming you’ll be missing these too…”
“You took all of them? ” she squeals, making me laugh harder than I had anticipated.
“Sure did. I live up to my promises, baby.”
“You’re so mean! I thought you were joking about all of that!”
Her frustration is adorable.
“Aw, you poor thing…”
She clenches her teeth together and cross her arms over her chest in protest.
Just then, Dean walks up to us and laughs when he sees the bag I’m still holding.
“Damn, he was serious…” he says. “Didn’t we promise to give her vibrator back?”
I open the bag and search for the little metal bullet shaped vibrator, pulling it out and handing it to her. “Billy comes with me though,” I snicker.
“Mean. Just so mean,” she repeats.
“If you’re a good girl until I get back, maybe we’ll all find time to play with Billy.”
She shakes her head. “Nope. Billy is mine. Nobody gets to play with Billy…”
Hmm…maybe I should just accidentally toss Billy out the window on our way there.
I look over Nikki’s shoulder and see Jeremy and Sammi emerging from their cabin finally.
“It’s about time!” I holler.
“Maybe if we didn’t have a visitor halfway through, I would have been ready sooner…” Jeremy teases.
“Yeah… asshole.” Sammi hisses as she wraps her arm around Nikki’s shoulders.
I grin and tuck the velvet bag back into my suitcase as Jeremy tosses his bag in bedside mine. “We should get going. Maybe we’ll miss the traffic.”
“I miss you already…” she whispers into my ear.
“We won’t be gone for long, I promise.” I then turn to Dean. “Take care of our girls…”
Dean reaches out and gives me a hug and then Jeremy and I hop into the car, ready to set off on our murderous adventure.
Several hours later, we finally arrive back in the city. We avoid going near our houses and head straight for a motel.
Once we arrive, we unpack our bags from the trunk and settle in. If things go as smoothly as I plan, we won’t have a reason to pay for another night’s stay.
“Should we eat soon?” Jeremy asks before heading off to the bathroom.
“Maybe order in?” I reply, grabbing the remote off the desk and plopping myself down onto the perfectly made bed.
For a motel, it’s actually decent. You really can’t expect much for eighty nine dollars per night.
I grab the menu from the side table and read through the options. “Pizza?” I holler out, hoping he’s game, because I could go for a little pepperoni and cheese right about now.
“Fuck yeah!” he hollers back.
Instead of calling, I fire up the app and order delivery.
A few minutes later, Jeremy emerges from the bathroom. “So…is Jessica going to let you know when Paul makes an appearance at The Palace?”
“I think so. The sooner the fucking better,” I say, flipping through the boring channels included in the basic cable service the motel provides.
We finally settle for watching old re-runs of Orange County Choppers and wait for a knock at the door. When the delivery finally shows up forty minutes later, we start shoveling the pizza into our mouths, interrupted by the sound of my phone ringing.
“It’s probably the girls already…” Jeremy smirks, shaking his head.
It’s not. It’s Jessica.
“Hello?” I answer, placing the call on speaker.
“Hey, Malachi. I just got word that Paul isn’t alone at the club. He’s got a woman with him.”
“That makes it a little complicated…”
“My…friend says she doesn’t look very happy to be there. Paul’s been dragging her everywhere with him. She hasn’t spoken a word to anyone.”
“Really? Do you think she’s—a possible sale?”
“I don’t know. My friend is keeping a close eye on his every move, but you might want to get down there soon. I’d hate to see another woman fall victim to his fucked up game.”
“We’ll head down there and scope the place out. If he leaves, we’ll be on him.”
“Be careful. Who knows how many of those men are in on it. I’m sure he’s not operating alone,” she sighs.
“Keep me updated. Let us know if he leaves before we get there.”
“Will do. Good luck.”
I end the call, grabbing my keys off the desk as Jeremy grabs our key cards.
“What do we do if he leaves with her?” he asks on our way out the door.
“We follow them.”
“Then what?”
“We’ll figure it out.”
“I don’t know about this, man. What if she’s part of the whole thing?”
I start the car and back out of the motel parking lot. “Then I guess we’ll have to kill two birds with one stone.”
After just a few minutes, we drive past The Palace and I swing a left into the parking lot across the street. I carefully park among a lineup of cars so I don’t look out of place and kill the engine.
“Shouldn’t we have some sort of plan?” Jeremy asks, annoying the hell out of me every time he opens his mouth.
“Respectfully—do you ever shut the fuck up?” I ask.
“I just…” he starts to explain before I cut him off.
“Just go with the flow. Never stick to a plan. Plans never work out. Plans are where ideas go to fucking die.”
“You’re such a peach.” He laughs, shaking his head.
I shoot him a smirk, reaching into the back seat for a bottle of water. The second I open the bottle and lift it to my lips, I see the front door on the club open. My eyes focus in on the couple walking out first, in front of Paul and whomever the young woman is tagging along closely beside him.
Jessica was right. This girl doesn’t look happy to be there. She looks…almost drugged out. Not quite a drunken state. More so, someone gave her something to keep her obedient and oblivious.
“Fuck. She doesn’t look like she’s willingly part of their plan.” I groan, keeping my eyes on Paul’s every move.
“She sure doesn’t. She’s in rough shape.”
Paul stands with the other couple on the sidewalk for a good five minutes until finally, they all part ways and Paul pulls the girl along beside him, heading toward a black and red Subaru parked at the side of the club.
I don’t know what’s worse—the rusted out hunk of junk or the fact that he has a bumper sticker that says “you can’t fix stupid” on his back windsheild.
Stupid can in fact be fixed and…I’m about to show him how.
