My body bucked. “Nn—”
He licked, flicked and rubbed his face all over me. Ravenous. Obsessed. Hungry. My muscles tensed, my back bowed, and heat shot to my head as a second orgasm ripped through me.
He lifted his head, his nose, lips, and chin coated in me. “Now?”
“Yes. God, yes.”
Lucas stood up, kicked off his shoes, and pulled out a condom from his pocket before undoing his jeans and shoving them down his strong thighs. My chest heaved as I watched him tear the wrapper and unroll it over his beautiful cock. Thank God he had condom, because I was stupid enough in the moment to proceed without it. I wanted him. I’d never wanted a man so much.
Opening my legs, he settled between them and entered me, pushing slow, strong … deep. I sucked in a breath and dug my nails into his shoulders as he rocked into me, body against body, skin against skin.
My eyes caught his and they filled with tears. It had been so long since I’d felt such love, adoration, and intimacy. I’d almost forgotten how powerful it was; almost forgotten it even existed.
“Are you okay?”
“Yes.”
He leaned forward and gently kissed my eyes and cheeks, so I nodded and smiled. He searched my eyes for a second or two, and when he was satisfied I was telling the truth, he rocked his hips harder and faster until stars were bursting beneath my eyelids, and I was gasping for breath he’d stolen in the most beautiful of ways.

Darkness creptover my bodylike fog rolling over a valley, thick, fast, and suffocating. I couldn’t move, couldn’t speak, and I certainly couldn’t scream, my airways crushed by the grip of his bare hands. “I’ll fucking kill you, you bitch.”
Those eyes, those evil black eyes burned into my skull and jolted me awake. I gasped for air and grabbed at my throat, lifting Lucas’s arm, which fell to the bed like a lead weight as I scrambled across the mattress.
He mumbled something inaudible and rolled over.Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!
Huddled at the corner of the bed, I looked back at his sleeping form as I touched my neck, realizing I was safe and that he’d just been cuddling me.
Coughing, I realized I needed water so I stood up and made my way into the bathroom, almost screaming bloody murder when I took in my reflection.
Black eyeliner rimmed my eyes and smudged down my cheeks, and my hair … what the fuck had happened to my hair?
I quickly turned on the tap and cupped a small handful of water over my face and hair then scrubbed at my eyes and cheeks with a face washer. He couldn’t see me like this. I was hideous. And anyone would think they’d summoned Beetlejuice.
“Good morning, gorgeous.”
I shrieked and looked up into the mirror, spying Lucas leaning against the bathroom door, his large hand scrubbing his face and hair. Early-morning-post-sex looked good on him. Very good. Mouth-watering, in fact.Bastard!
“GET OUT!” I covered my face and hair.
“Why?” He dropped his hand and searched the room, probably for a bomb.
“I’m not ready yet.”
Lucas’s forehead scrunched. “Ready for what?”
“The … the day.”
He chuckled and stepped forward.
“GET BACK!”
“No. Come here.”
Dread seized my body when he gently pried my fingers away from my head. I wasn’t young and fresh like he was used to; everything sagged in the morning until it was hoisted up with clothing, creams, and chemicals.
Rubbing the pads of his thumbs over my cheeks, he leaned in and touched his lips to mine, his sensual approach instantly taking away my anguish.Maybe there is such a thing as magic?
