Page 122 of My So-Called Perfect Life
I do. Tears from my eyes, snot from my nose, and cum from my vagina.
“Earlier at the bar, I was thinking how beautiful you looked, even during an emotional breakdown. You don’t hide from me, even at the worst times.” He pauses his thoughts and waggles his brows at me. “But we haven’t covered every orifice. It’s been a month since I’ve had you under me. There’re a few more holes we can fill with liquid.”
I snort. “Dream on, pal. Don’t let the love and happiness fool you. You have way too much groveling left to do before I let you anywhere near my ass.”
“You told me to make you mine,” he says. “There’s unclaimed territory. I made a promise to own you.”
This is one of the things that just cements how perfect Ryan is for me. He doesn’t shy away from my emotions. He wants everything, even the truth about still being angry with him.
“Let’s start with owning my heart before moving to butt stuff, okay?”
“Your heart is mine. You gave it to me, and I’m not giving it back.”
Epilogue
Danielle
Daddy’s smile is wide, brilliant, and filled with warmth. “You look so beautiful, Sweet Pea.”
“Thank you, Daddy.”
“I know what happened last time was horrendous, and my heart broke into a million pieces that day, seeing you so hurt.” A tear wells in the corner of his eye. “But it was all worth it to get to today. Ryan is a wonderful man who is truly worthy of you. I wish you so much happiness, my sweet girl.”
I kiss Daddy’s cheek, feeling so much love wafting off of him.
“I found a love …”
Ed Sheeran’s voice croons, and that’s our cue to go.
The ball of excitement in my chest explodes, and butterflies fill my stomach in the best way as the opening notes of “Perfect” filter through the air. I’ve dreamed of this moment for longer than I can remember.
I take a deep breath as Daddy leads me inside. It feels like time freezes as I lift my head, and I find the man about to become my husband. The look in Ryan’s eyes surpasses anything I could’ve imagined. I swear, he penetrates my soul with the intense love that pours from his beautiful blue eyes.
God, I love this man.
His adoration for me shines brightly, clear for all to see. I could find those eyes in the deepest darkness. Ryan doesn’t even try to hide the way his eyes roam from my head to my toes, heating me from the inside out as they slowly move back up to my face.
My man doesn’t look too shabby himself in his navy tux. His dark hair is slicked back in a way only Ryan can pull off without looking ridiculous. I don’t even think he realizes how huge his smile is.
This moment is more than I could’ve ever dreamed.
I think of all the amazing things still to come in our future, waiting for us to share together. Life. Love. Children.
And to think, we have all this, thanks to chlamydia. Who would’ve thought that my dumbass ex-fiancé, a few shots, and some antibiotics to go around would’ve landed me here—with the perfect man to spend my life with?
“You look incredible. You’re stunning,” he growls under his breath as he takes my hand from Daddy, who shakes his head and smiles.
The ceremony passes by in a blur of love, tears, and vows.
A chorus of cheers erupts as Ryan’s hands encase my face, and he pulls me in for an earth-shattering kiss. My fingers dig into the jacket of his tux, and I swear, my toes curl in my shoes as I feel every single ounce of emotion being unleashed into this kiss.
“You might want to let her breathe, so she doesn’t suffocate before the reception,” Evan interrupts our first kiss as husband and wife.
Ryan stares down at me with a level of passion that’s a new high for us. “I cannot wait to see what’s under this dress.”
My obsession with wearing sexy little outfits for him hasn’t lessened. If anything, I’ve become more creative. Our sex life lacks for nothing.
“Who says I’m wearing anything under my dress?”
