I don’t know how much time passed before he withdrew from my body and turned me to face each other. As soon as he had me in front of him, he kissed my lips with delicacy and infinite feeling.

“I love you, William,” I said, unable to repress my feelings.

“And I love you with all my heart.”

I smiled. I was convinced that one couldn’t be happier than I was at that moment. William loved me and we were going to form a family with Aurora. He pulled me to his body and wrapped me in his arms, skin to skin, heart to heart. Both seeking refuge in each other’s arms, but at the same timeoffering me protection. We slept embraced and embraced we woke up.

After I woke him with kisses, we got up and showered together. Morning sex in the shower was very pleasurable. Then we went to wake Aurora, both of us lying in her bed with her between us, and we woke her with caresses and kisses. The little one opened her eyes, looked at one and then the other, and a beautiful smile settled on her angelic face. Then, as if energy suddenly invaded her, she stood up on the bed and began to jump.

William wanted to talk to Aurora as soon as we finished breakfast. We went to the living room and sat on the couches, with the little one on her father’s lap.

“Aurora, Devon and I want to tell you something.”

“You’ll be able to play with Devon whenever you want because she’s going to live with us,” he stated, while my heart stopped as I waited for her reaction, though I wasn’t sure if the little one understood what he meant.

“Yaaay!Divonis my mommy!” she exclaimed, abandoning her father to jump on me.

While it still moved me to hear her call me that, I was clear that I couldn’t overshadow the memory of her mother, so I insisted on what we had already discussed.

“Aurora, I’m not your mommy,” I said, gently stroking her soft hair. “Your mommy’s name was Cristina and, even though she’s not here anymore, she’ll always be your mommy. But itwould be an honor for me to share my life with you and your daddy.”

“Yes, you are my mommy,” she asserted, with a bossy voice and posture that reminded me so much of her father, but which was very cute coming from her.

I looked at William seeking help, but he looked at me with what seemed like an amused expression.

“If you allow it and she wants to call you that, I don’t see any problem with it,” he remarked, very naturally.

That caught me off guard, but emotion overwhelmed me. They were everything to me.

“Mommy,” Aurora said, and I felt such a powerful emotion that I couldn’t stop tears from running down my cheeks. They were the best gift life could have given me.

“For me, there’s nothing more beautiful than being called that by you, and I promise that, no matter what happens, I’ll be by your side taking care of you and loving you always. Thank you,” I said, and I looked at William because the gratitude was also for him for allowing his daughter to call and treat me this way.

He nodded and suddenly we found ourselves surrounded by his strong arms. Aurora was laughing and struggling to be released while I mixed tears of emotion with laughter of happiness.

“What do you think about going to the beach?” William suggested.

“Yiii,” Aurora shouted.

“Sounds great,” I replied, “but I need to go to my apartment because I didn’t bring any bikinis.”

“We can stop by your place and you can bring more clothes so you can stay with us,” he suggested, very naturally.

“Okay. Let’s pack a bag with a couple of changes of clothes for Aurora. It’s good to bring clothes to change her so she doesn’t stay in wet clothes.”

“Whatever you say, doctor,” he said, smiling.

“No.Divonis not my doctor, she’s my mommy,” Aurora stated, again with a furrowed brow and hands on her hips, which made both of us burst into laughter.

We arrived at the beach and, after setting up the umbrella and chairs, Aurora dragged me to the shore to collect seashells and colored stones. I must confess that when I took off my dress, William’s gaze made my skin tingle all over. That man was capable of drastically affecting me with just a look.

“You should only wear that bikini for me,” he whispered in my ear.

“Come on, mommy. I want to collect seashells,” Aurora ordered, tugging at my hand, but seeing that her father was still talking to me, she let go and went to sit on the sand a few meters from where we were, but where we could still see her very well.

“Can you handle having two bossy people as family?” he asked, smiling.
