Feeling alone on every level and overwhelmed by profound grief, she seeks refuge in her beloved profession and friends, eventually managing to move forward. She believes she doesn’t deserve to be loved, but she’s wrong. Nothing prepares her for the upheaval that occurs in her life when she encounters a little patient hungry for attention and her authoritative but attractive father.
William Cavaller is a widower, lawyer, and successful businessman, but above all, the loving father of Aurora, a 3-year-old girl. His first marriage was a sham, and he swore he’d never go through that ordeal again. Furthermore, now that his daughter is part of his life, he won’t allow any woman to play with the little girl’s feelings.
